I thought they didn’t work, but once I opened it the lights come on and the kids absolutely loved them and they also tasted delicious!

Kods loved it but it isn't a push pop just a light up sucker in the shape of the punch pop. In my opinion way cooler than the original but my son stuck his finger in it and looked at me like um? I ate like 3 lol parents tax

Just a note to follow on the previous review here - according to the U.S. recall data (CA 2013) the 2010 recall was for the old version of these pops. The new version is anything produced since 2011 bearing a lot code of ‘110201’ or greater (for example 110330, 120409, etc.) - which are NOT recalled and approved for sale and consumption in the U.S. I researched this as these pops would be perfect for my son's party and thought it strange that recalled edibles would be allowed for sale on Amazon. This isn't to say the pops are healthy (sugar, artificial color & flavorings), but at least the new version passed a lead test!Just an fyi - If in doubt, check the lot number on the package!

Many do not light up. Those that do will light erratically, but only if you use your fingernail to push deeper in and at an angle. Bought for halloween to give out and not cheap. Now have to explain to each trick or treater and apologize for something that was supposed to be extra special, but now potentially frustrating to them. It shows by price returnable, but if you click on the information button it states non-refundable. A bit tricky (and not treaty!)
