You may unsubscribe from promotional communications at any time by following the instructions in the emails or in your account settings. However, you will continue to receive transactional messages relating to your orders or account.
Any claim relating to Desert Online General Trading LLC's website within the GCC will be governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates without regard to its conflict of law provisions. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
We currently accept valid credit or debit cards with a Visa or Mastercard logo for purchases on Desertcart. This includes prepaid cards and Visa-based e-dirham cards. Certain items may also support cash on delivery (COD), which will be indicated on the product page. Cash on delivery orders incur an additional fee shown at checkout. Refunds for COD orders will be issued as store credit. All transactions are processed securely, and Desert Online General Trading LLC is not responsible for any fees applied by your issuing bank, including international conversion or authorization fees. Desertcart recommends card payment over cash to ensure faster delivery and secure refunds.
10.1. Order Processing. Desertcart operates a procurement-on-demand model. When you place an order, we source the product from our international supplier network on your behalf. Sourcing and shipping begin promptly after order confirmation.
10.2. Cancellation. You may request order cancellation by contacting Desertcart Support. If sourcing, procurement, or dispatch has already commenced, cancellation may not be possible. We will confirm whether cancellation can be accommodated within 2 business days of your request. Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled; you may return the item in accordance with Section 10.4 below.
10.3. Delivery. Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout and represent our best estimate based on current conditions. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed and may vary due to product availability, customs processing, supplier lead times, and regional logistics conditions.
10.4. Returns. You may return unused items in their original, unopened packaging within 7 days of delivery by contacting Desertcart Support. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the item is defective, damaged, or not as described. For EU and UK customers, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without providing a reason.
10.5. Refunds. Refunds are normally issued as store credit. Card refunds may be available upon request and are processed within 72 hours of the returned item being received and approved. Refunds for COD orders are issued as store credit.
10.6. Non-Returnable Items. The following items cannot be returned unless defective: undergarments, food, supplements, personal grooming products, items missing serial numbers, hygiene products that have been opened or unsealed, customized or personalized products, and digital products once accessed.
10.7. Defective or Incorrect Items. If you receive an item that is defective, damaged, or materially different from its description, contact Desertcart Support within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you. Products covered under manufacturer warranty will be handled as per the original manufacturer's terms.
11.1. Desert Online General Trading LLC shall not be liable for any delay in delivery or performance where such delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control ("Force Majeure Event"), including but not limited to: armed conflict or threat thereof, geopolitical disruption, trade route or shipping lane interruption, port closure, carrier or logistics partner disruption, government sanctions or restrictions, customs delays, natural disaster, epidemic or pandemic, or act of government.
11.2. Where a Force Majeure Event affects delivery, estimated delivery timelines are extended by the duration of the disruption. Such extension does not constitute a breach of contract, deficiency of service, or grounds for order cancellation or refund.
11.3. We will use reasonable efforts to notify you of any significant delay caused by a Force Majeure Event and provide updated delivery estimates where possible.
11.4. Your rights in respect of goods that are defective, damaged, or materially different from their description upon delivery are not affected by this clause.
Users are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information when creating an account and for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Desert Online General Trading LLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account found to be engaging in fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity. Users must not misuse the website, interfere with its functionality, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, systems, or data.
For EU consumers, disputes may be submitted via the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law or equivalent local consumer protection laws. Refunds for international customers will comply with the consumer protection requirements applicable in their jurisdiction.
