So when I saw the ad in a pop up, my indulgent side took over. BUT! I never considered of that shipping them in 90 degree heat might affect the product.When I opened the 8x10 cardboard shipping box, that appeared it had been chucked around some, then the product box, found nothing but melted icing cake goop! Stuck to the wrapping.Not wanting to immediately throw it in the garbage without satisfying the original urge, I refrigerated the remainder. A few hours later I opened the plastic wrapping and proceeded with a spoon.There is is no good news to report. Not what I remember, it has an artificial taste, the outer icing is different, very similar to the Little Debbie Swiss Rolls. I recall the icing to be a bit darker chocolate.Pretty disappointed all around, didn't get that childhood rush fulfilled. So much for "cheep thrills"Back to that Gary Cooper western I was watching!

It's a really good product very fresh. The only criticism I have is it is a little too sweet.

Growing up in the Philly area, Tastykakes were the treat we all loved. Ordering on Amazon gives me the ability to have my childhood tastes experienced all over again while living on the West Coast.Tastykakes are best when fresh or you can freeze them and let them thaw before enjoying. I have not had a bad Tastykake product in my 66 years on the planet...

The service itself was great. The product was not as good as I thought it would be.

Thought I'd try a different brand from the one I had as a kid, just to branch out a little. Was craving some nostalgia during the holidays. Unfortunately this brand of swiss cake rolls is just way way too sweet for me and I couldn't finish the box.

Packages of cakes inside of box melted and smashed, can't return, money wasted. Disappointing to say the least.
