Unique Cast Iron Woman Bird Wall Plaque

Color, size, quality, finish is top notch.

I'm not sure what I expected, even though the description said cast iron. This piece is heavy (definitely cast iron) and has great detail. I have seen numerous cast iron pieces and whie so many of them seemed to flow into or out of, a blob of some kind, this piece was pleasantly surprising with the quality of workmanship. Absolutely worth every cent..

This is a solid cast that was a bit heavier than expected. I intended to hang above an arch in my kitchen, but I am a little paranoid that if it fell, it would damage the floor or seriously hurt someone. Therefore, I suggest finding a stud or ensure you trust in your own handy-man-ness. I will instead add this to my garden as it is a nicely detailed and attractive piece.

She has a beautiful face, but would suit me better if she was twice as big and half as heavy. I toned down the gold with dark green spray paint giving her a more distressed look.

Heavy and well made, I expect this will last - unlike resin items that I spent as much on. It is truly gold rather than green. I painted the birds a brilliant blue and hung a small bird hook to right that holds a hanging ball of nesting material. Love it!

Very cool addition to my garden. After reading some of the other reviews I was a little bit apprehensive about purchasing this item for fear of damage, but the packaging was excellent and she was received in perfect condition. As stated by other reviewers, this plaque is much more gold toned than advertised, but I really like it. I took quite a few pics to try to show it's true color, but none came very close to reality. Nevertheless, this is an awesome piece and I'm very happy with the purchase.

I was skeptical about getting this beautiful piece due to reviews saying her nose was rubbing badly. The packaging could be done better, for instance utilizing rigid foam instead of cardboard wraps. But the greenlady face came in absolutely free of defects and her nose is perfect. I got this for my mom for a gift and she can't stop telling me thank you.

I started collecting cast iron wall plaques, specifically, "greenman" style, and this looked very nice, especially for the modest price. I was shocked when I got it, because the detail is so spectacular. It is absolutely beautiful, and kudos to the sculptor who sculpted the original piece. Looks beautiful with the others in my collection on the wall. My only problem is that I'm so thrilled with it, I'll continue to collect cast iron plaques of this quality, and I'm afraid I'll have to put an addition on the house so I have enough wall space for more!!! I couldn't be happier with the quality, price, and how fast it came. Thank you, thank you. (By the way, it even has a hanger on the back, which makes it a lot easier to mount on the wall, instead of screw holes, where you have to put long screws into drywall.)
