Pro Level Gear

Pro quality gear, without paying pro level money. Super light weight and comfortable. Easy to change out the lenses. Comes with a really nice case.

They lasted for years.

I bought this set of sunglasses for my bro.. in 2019!, he finally broke the frame and asked me where I got them for him as his Christmas present, so decided to buy them again for his BDay, I guess they worth the money.

These are okay, but have realistic expectations

I want to be 100% fair in evaluating these budget glasses. On the one hand, you get an impressive number of lenses & accessories at a fraction of the price you'd pay for "name-brand" cycling glasses. On the other hand, these are made of pretty cheap materials and I personally find they're not extremely comfortable. The bottom line is that they're not being sold at a loss, so don't fool yourself into believing you're going to get more than you paid for. You're not. All of that said, I've been a competitive athlete for about 20 years. I love gadgets and gear and end up with pretty well-informed opinions. For budget glasses, these do the job just fine. The glasses come with a (large) case, 1 set of polarized lenses, and a selection of non-polarized tinted lenses, a prescription insert, and a strap that you can attach to the glasses if you remove the arms. So Rockbros. gives you quite a bit of "stuff" for your money and if that is the only metric you care about these are a good value. That said, these glasses are made of pretty cheap plastic, they don't provide what I consider adequate coverage, and I find the "fit" to be lacking. To be fair, some of my criticism is subjective; i.e. it speaks to how the glasses fit my particular face. As a comparison, I have a pair of Smith cycling glasses that I purchased 16 years ago that I still own. After 16 years, the Smith logo finally fell off (the glasses still work just fine). I'd be shocked if the Rockbros glasses survive12 months of regular wear. The Rockbros don't fit very well either. Specifically, they tend to sit too far forward and provide no coverage at the bottom. For me, that means that when I'm wearing them while cycling, when I glance down towards my handlebars or bike-computer, I have zero coverage from the lens--no tinting, no wind protection, nothing. This is largely because the design has a long "sweat-guard" bar that spans the top of the lenses and push them forward from your nose/face. You might prefer that, but I do not. Also, the nose grips are not great. You certainly can shape them a bit to improve fit, but the grip is actually a single, large piece of rubber with metal inside of it. The Rockbros nose grip is adequate (at best) but the overall design isn't ideal for glasses meant to be used for active sports. My eyelashes were literally hitting the nose grip which forced me to adjust the glasses even further away from my face making the "fit" even worse for cycling.Again, these are not bad glasses if you purchase them with the expectation of them lasting about a year or so. If you're an athlete who trains frequently, these probably shouldn't be your primary kit. When I purchased my Smith glasses 16 years ago I wasn't happy with the price, but those things have held up to literally tens-of-thousands of miles of ultra-running and cycling. The Smith glasses were adjustable enough that I got them dialed in back in 2007 and haven't needed to adjust the nose grips since. These Rockbros glasses provide protection, but I just can't recommend them to athletes as a primary piece of your kit. I'm glad I purchased them and I'll keep them handy as an option or a backup. I've got a few sets of inexpensive sports glasses from China that I use, and these Rockbros. are probably a better "value" than most. But ultimately these are cheaply made glasses without a number of refinements casual users might overlook. If you're an athlete who spends a lot of time relying on your gear to fit and function well, you should look elsewhere for your primary kit.

Multi use

I know these are advertised for cycling. But I use these as protective eyewear while playing basketball. I switch out to the clear lens. And I love them. Took a hit to the face from the ball and wasn't injured at all. The glasses got knocked off my face but I wasn't hurt at all. Had to get another pair because the nose piece is a little loose but they are still usable as sun glasses. Looks great, I've gotten compliments on them from people. I've also used them while cycling and they work great. They keep the sun out my eyes but my vision is still clear.

Great for the price and protective

8 months after first use. I just broke one lense today. Something hit right in the middle. If it weren't for these I could have been hurt pretty bad.... always wear eye protection.....After a bug hit my eye at 26mph and took a week and half to heal I needed something but not something to spend $100 or more on. Are they kinda cheap like. Sure. But for less than 20 bucks well worth it. Those who compare Oakley and say how they dont compare. Go spend your money on the Oakley.... for someone like me theyre comfortable. Stay on very well as I bike almost daily and really hate to wear glasses but these are quite comfortable on my nose. They're cheap so treat them that way be gentle putting on and taking off..

Rx adapter is not useable but otherwise decent value

I got this because I needed something that was good value for money. I can go pretty rough while outdoors and also can lose things so I wanted something I can break and still shrug it off. This is exactly that - perfectly functional but cheap enough to not think twice if I lost or broke it. Purpose served. The problem is with the Rx adapter. I should have gotten the cheapest lens possible which would have cost me about US$50, but I ended up getting something nicer thinking it was for my eyes and spent US$150 on the lens.Unlike the sunglasses which have a decent build (fine for running at least, not sure about cycling at high speed), the Rx adapters use very cheap plastic and are guaranteed to break after a while. It doesn't even require a shock; it will disintegrate. And the company does not sell just the adapters. (Similarly on quality of the materials used, the metal parts on the straps showed rust after a few months of sweating.)So I ended up ordering a second pair of the same sunglasses just for the adapters and gave away the new sunglasses to someone who didn't need prescription lens. And again, after a while, the adapters broke. I had two and I think each lasted about 3-4 months. To be clear, the sunglasses are okay. Which is why I'm ordering a third pair, just so I can use the prescription lens I already have. But this is such a joke, isn't it...Summary. If you want value for money running glasses, this is a good candidate. If you need Rx lenses with it, don't go for this one.
