I’m excited to write this review because I was really really uncertain about ordering this costume. My 3.5yr old runs on the larger size of clothes and really is in a 5t now more than a 4t. However, this was the cutest and cheapest lion costume I could find. So we gave it a shot!I read the measurements listed in the q&as, and I think they might be off. Based off those, there was no way it would fit my kid. But as you can see in the pics, it’s perfect! Plenty of length and width. His height is 41” and bust was 21”.Now a couple of things to note:-I added a picture of a small “hole” that it came with, located on the belly. It’s more like a run you’d get in nylons more than a hole. Anyway, it doesn’t bother me because it isn’t completely a hole, and I paid freaking $20 for this thing... it’s not exactly the best quality product for that price. Hahah-The head piece is separate from the body, but attaches with snaps. This is a great function.-The mane does shed a small bit-Attached mittens are a nice touch.-The material is soft and not itchy inside.-Easy snaps for closing the back.Overall, would definitely recommend. Especially at this price! Snag one if you’re looking for a lion costume!

Adorable kid's costume. My daughter loves lions and has been asking to be a lion for Halloween since last Halloween. There aren't very many options for toddler sizes and this looked to be the cutest. For the price, you can't ask for more.I didn't have any problems with the feet being sewn on backwards, as some others had.The hair for the mane comes a bit smushed, as should be expected from packaging, but you can fluff it up just fine.The mane is not so full as the picture would lead you to believe; it's only about a 6 inch strip around the face of the costume, but you still get a lion effect.The material is the quality anyone could expect from a costume, it not a little better. It's very soft on the outside.I really like that the head piece is secured with snaps and came be removed if the child becomes uncomfortable.Also, the mittens are attached on an elastic string, very well thought out design for a toddler costume.The sizing is about as accurate as you can get for a 3T-4T. It's a bit large for my daughter who is transitioning to 3T, but I can fix that with safety pins. And it fits snugly for my son who is just going to size 5. It is probably best suited for a 4T.All in all, I'm happy that I purchased this. I'm anxious to see how it holds up over Halloween and if we will get any more uses from it.

My 4-year-old son has been telling us he wants to be a lion for Halloween since this summer, so we had to find him a good-looking costume. I'm very happy with this! He's small for his age, about 40 lbs and 41 inches tall, and this fits him perfectly. He has plenty of room to wear his clothes under and some layers if needed for trick or treating. The material is very soft and comfortable, and I love that the gloves are attached. The hood liner is a bit strange, which is why this got 4 stars instead of 5. It's a white plastic liner, but it doesn't seem to bother him. This is going to be adorable for all of our Halloween activities and for playing dress-up after the holiday.

Bought as a gift for a friend's kid. Quick shipping and was super easy to use. Its functionality of the zipper was good. the colors were nice and bright. Was warm and fit well

This outfit was a little lazy in its desing. Some aspects were very well thought out snd others were just lazy. The things that were done well are the elastic straps for the "paws" to go over the top of kids feets, and the elastic strap runs like a stirrup so they can wear street shoes. I like that a lot better than the fabric over the shoe covers that will just get dirty or worn out. The hand mittens have an elastic string that attaches them to the inside sleeve of the body so even if kids take their hands out, parents are worried about losing the paws. The head piece has snaps that attach it to the body so those two are individual pieces and the snaps fit so that they are on the outside of both pieces so they two fold together and make a better seam with the buttons concealed inside the fold. Hopefully that makes sense. It looks better than just snapping it on with exposed holes all the way around. The fur is ok. It is thicker than i thought, whihc is good, but it is that fluffy cheapish stuff, not a nice plush looking mane. The hood is lined stih a white plastic material, that i imagine will get hot or sweater and it needs to be tamed once out of the oackage so that when the child is wearing the outfit the white plastic isn't exposed. Ours seems like it was folded funny so the white stuff wants to pull or turn outward at the seam instead of being tucked inside her hood. The body is ok. The material is very soft and comfortable, but it seemed just huge and draped on my daughter. I understand that is intentional so this can fit a wide range of children but without the hood, the outfit will NOT stay up. It is quite big and open at the neck and do you need the hood to attach and tug everything together and keep it up. It will be great to use for a short while, but it isn't the highest quality I have seen. We are still pleased with it, for the price we paid.
