Orbit 26143 7-Pattern Zinc Thumb Control Nozzle w/Swivel

This nozzle works great. It is easy to turn on and off. The flow coming out of it, no matter which patterns I use, are well designed. I’mGoing to buy another one for my front yard now.

It worked great at first. Doesn’t get used much but it started getting too hard to open the flow lever when under pressure. Wouldn’t buy another one. The pro series model I bought is still working well

excellent swivel design!! no longer am I fighting the angle of the hose! gentle handle to hold, and the 'on/off' switch is easy to use, it does not leak. I purchased the first one two years ago and it works just as great as the first time I used it. This one is my second purchase.

This nozzle is heavy duty and seems durable. It moves easily from one spray stream to the other and doesn't leak. My only complaint is the sliding lever to turn it on and off is difficult to move.

I ordered this and their pro flo adjustable. It’s like a fire hose nozzle. This one is close to my old one, but doesn’t quite fit in the hand as well. For whatever reason my old one is easier to grip and the thumb thingy is easier and more intuitive to grasp. My old one is more point and shoot. You controlled the hose rather than with this one it’s kind of controlling you. I think it just comes down to being too narrow right below the thumb wheel. I’m a lefty but I don’t think that matters.It’s fine. It has all the various nozzles which is nice but I’ll probably reach for the pro flo adjustable I bought over this. The swivel head design is a great feature. Once you use it you will likely only buy swivel head nozzles for all your garden hoses. It's swivel design allows the nozzle head to swivel to adjust to the hose tension, so you are not wrestling with trying to twist the hose to conform with the standard garden nozzle. Once you use a swivel head nozzle, you will likely not go back to the old design.

I bought this Orbit swivel hose nozzle because I have arthritis in both my hands, but love to garden.The swivel part works ok, but it is stiff to turn. The fire hose type spray force aduster is almost impossible for me to push forward and back. The paint has started to chip off after a couple uses,and the painted part of the nozzle is plastic. I thought it was metal when I purchased. Good product, butnot easier on arthritic hands.
