Easy To Reheat and Delicious with Chicken and Bok Choy!
If you are looking for an easy dinner option and have some leftover rotisserie chicken or any leftover meats you can heat this package of rice up in a little oil in a fry pan. Then add the chicken and some sliced up bok choy and heat well. In less than 10 minutes you can have dinner for two on the table. I also topped this with some Teriyaki sauce I had in packets. You could also use some sweet-and-sour sauce or any sauce you prefer. Happy Eating!~The Rebecca ReviewP.S. I also tried this with Swanson's canned low-sodium chicken and it was delicious. I also added some McCormick grill mates Montreal chicken seasoning.

Product of Thailand
This stuff is pretty good. I enjoyed it and it has just the right amount of flavor. It's not as good as the real thing, but it's close enough.

Tasty Fried Rice, Would Like a Bit More Flavor
For fried rice that you don't have to cook, and that you can make in 90 seconds in the microwave, this is pretty good. I would like a little more flavor; I found I had to add soy sauce (or better yet, spicy chili sauce) to make this to my taste, but I consider this as a great base. The vegetables are nice, and not mushy; there are enough of them that you know they're there. You could definitely serve this as a side dish, or do what I do and add a few leftover veggies, some protein, and some sauce or other and make it a meal.

Chemical flavor
Ok in a pinch, but has an odd chemical taste to it. I have had other precooked microwave rice before, but this has an extra strange taste to it even after I fired it up more in the skillet with more soy sauce. Likely won’t buy again, unless I have to.

Deliciously delicious...
This product added a taste of the Islands to a dish from India. Added an additional flavor to a dish that would have been on the flat side and jazzed it up to make a great dish even greater. It is cost effective and easy to pour the Indian potato dish over the spiced rice base and enjoy both. For an 80 year old lady it makes fancy cooking much easier and makes delicious food right at my fingertips. I just love these cooking bags. Easy for me to cut and heat in the microwave and enjoy. Enough for two meals for me and enjoy something DELICIOUS and exotically spicy and quite yummy...

Uncle Roger would not approve! This is not Asian rice.
The rice itself is like yellow rice that was colored white. The texture & taste of the rice alone is NOT Asian but more like an American cafeteria's creative experiments with leftover rice. The veggies are not Asian or what you would find in fried rice either. Overall, it's not terrible but it's also not good or okay and is nothing like actual fried rice. I kept hearing Asian food critic Uncle Roger in my head commenting. I would love to see him try it & his thoughts. I am really disappointed because usually Taste of Thai does a good job. This isn't like their own other packaged foods.

Best Instant Fried Rice (I have Found)
I LOVE this Fried Rice. Is it as good as a restaurant, of course not. For a microwave product, it's excellent. Empty out a full or half a pouch, get some Sesame Seed Oil, then add, well anything. I add chicken, beef, left over vegetables, heat it up, you're good to go. You can have it as a side-dish or empty a full packet as a full meal. DON'T add salt, but I do add Cayenne pepper to make it spicy. You can heat this up via microwave or in a pan (which is probably a bit better, maybe add a fried egg).IF you have been thinking about trying it, I can tell you I really like Fried Rice from a restaurant. This is as close as I can find that's instant/ready-made, and I have purchased A LOT OF IT, it's worth a try. I am glad I did. One last thing… There are 1000 videos on YouTube on how to make your own, if that's not your thing, get this.

Won't buy again
Easy to make, but had to add soy sauce as the rice is bland and the color is strangely gray!
