Baxton Studio Striped Charlemagne Traditional French Accent Chair, Oak Brown

I am so thrilled with these chairs as i ordered two. After searching every furniture store in my area and not finding reasonably priced accent chairs, i took a chance and ordered these. So happy i did. They look wonderful and are relatively well made. They are comfortable and definitely dress up the space i intended for them.

I really don’t like to give bad reviews, and I really wanted to love these chairs. They look great. They are somewhat comfortable to sit in, but not big enough to curle up in if you are an adult (my son does manage to do it, so he enjoys them more). Putting them together was not difficult- everything is labeled clearly, just make sure not to remove little stickers off the legs when you are unwrapping them, or you will be lost. However, one of my two chairs has arrived with a wrong leg. It is clearly pointing in the wrong direction. The other three are fine. I tried to contact the seller to have the leg replaced, and there is no such option. Not even a phone listed to call the seller. The only option is to send the whole chair back and request either a replacement or a refund. Well, I just spent an hour trying to put this beast together and I am not taking it apart and fitting it back in the box. So, I managed to screw the wrong leg on the way that makes the chair functional even though it looks weird, but only if you know to look. Not many people look at the legs anyways, so it does not matter. But I am not happy with the lack of customer service.

This review is not about amazon... they did everything they said they would do... a great company!This is about the lack of good design. starting first with the simplest PACKING... poor design and cheap materials... I received this chair twice and the packaging design and materials didnot hold up.. the frame came to us cracked in three different places and the top of the chair was sheared off.Second the legs are designed to fit directly into the slot for each leg .. we found that each hole is a different diameter for the same leg. which says that their manufacturing equipment is not the right equipment for the job because it cannot be properly calibrated.And this goes to the heart of any manufacturing company and that is their Quality Control center... Its not there to just put on tags saying that passed .. its really there to make sure that their machinery is calibrated correctly and to keep waste $$ down.. here is an example of we found with the legs : when we could finally get the legs to screw down into their proper slot the two flat surfaces did mate on each leg... only a point contact touched on each leg and there was a big gap between each legs and the flat surface on the chair.. What does that do to the intergrety of each leg.. it put it at risk of being snapped off when some goes to move the chair with a pushing moment...Again : if they want to be considered a quality furniture manufacture then they need to address their procedures and prossess .. by the away i didnot address the quality of the wood.. i leave that to someone else to do... this is amarket house not a mfg. company look at their ads.. it s about saving trees and not about making fine furniture..

Gorgeous in person. Extremely well made. It was packed incredibly secure. Some of the best packing protection on any chair I’ve ever purchased from Amazon. Definitely worth getting. Perfect colors of beige and cream colors.

BEAUTIFUL!! Good quality, Not a heavy chair but sturdy! Packaged with care! Easy to unpack, Very easy to screw the legs in....no tools needed! I like it and Recommend ;))

Purchased this chair for our living room. Was super excited as we began removing the packaging as the fabric looked to be a perfect match to our existing furniture. However, the workmanship with regard to the wood structure was horrible. I cannot believe they seriously packaged up and sent out a product that was obviously substandard. Please look at the pictures. This is not damaged product. It is actually glued in place. Y’all....what is wrong with this manufacturer? There is actual putty at the outer edge of the left arm trying to piece back together part of the broken trim that has been glued, yes glued on to the frame.Now, I will say this, if you want a chair that will remind you of the year 2020 (and not in a good way), this is the chair for you! Ugh!!!

It’s a nice chair to look at but not very comfy. Chair arrived damage-free and was easy to assemble.
