Buffs up nicely

I got this after watching several videos on how to polish polymer clay. This wax came up time after time. I decided to give it a try. It does have a smell to it but at least to my nose it isn't offensive. I barely notice it at all. A little goes a long way! This container is small, but it will last pretty much forever. It dries really quickly. I use my dremel to buff it on my ( prebaked ) clay. Makes for beautiful faux gemstones and also provides a protective barrier to prevent scratches to my projects. I've used it on colored polymer clay and painted polymer clay and it works nicely on both. It goes on clear and does not affect the color of my projects at all. It just adds a nice shine.

Just by this

Outstanding product, works really well, so far I have used it on blued firearms and alligator cowboy boots.

This is some Amazing Stuff for Swords

After struggling with numerous types of oils and waxes to preserve and clean my swords I stumbled upon this stuff. All I can really say is, toss out your oils and buy this immediately. To begin with, it is a thick, white substance inside the jar (similar to solidified coconut oil in consistency). It has a pleasant, almost gasoline-like odor to it and feels waxy and oily all at once. You apply a very small amount to a clean, soft cloth and simply rub it all over your sword or knife (brass, silver, steel, even the wood handle). A VERY small amount goes a LONG WAY. I was surprised how little I needed. I bought the 65ml jar and treated a large Kris sword with it, and I didn't even make a dent in the jar. This jar will probably treat a few dozen swords. The wax dries fairly quickly, leaving the silver with a silvery, mirror-like finish that really brings it out. The brass and silver fittings look stunning, and even the wood of the handle came out shiny and brought out the natural grain. This sword has never looked better! I applied a second coat the next day (just because I like to make sure I got every little inch). As a side note, even after using this stuff on the sword's handle, it did not become slick or sticky. In fact, the handle grips firmly in my hand, and my hand does not seem to rub off the wax. So, this is great stuff to use even on "active" swords and not just your "show swords".The instructions that came with this say it can be used on almost anything, including photographs, leather, cloth, metals of any type, wood, marble and stone, etc. I have not tried it on anything other than swords and knives, however. All in all, this is amazing stuff. Never going back to oils or beeswax again.

Fine rifle must have

Easy to apply and really works on fine rifles to protect them

Works well, smells terrible

This is a good, hard wax that takes a nice polish... it does, however, smell like turpentine.

Gentle nough for old photos, tough enough for waterproofing construction boots

This is a product for everything! I bought it initially for protecting the wooden handles on my grandfather's kitchen knives, from the 40's, that he had left me. I needed something that wouldn't rub off easily, would last a considerable amount of time, and that protected the knife from water and "food juice".After applying to my knifes I was impressed on how quickly it dried and how easy it was to buff out any residual product I had left leaving a satiny matte finish. Water beeds right off of it and I couldn't be happier! Now I ran into the problem of having all this great product and nothing really to put it on, so I began playing around with it.I own a pair of Blundstone boots I use for work and was running into a problem, due to the industrial cleaners I use any natural wax, silicone spray, or oil I was using to waterproof my boots would wear-off within a few days and I would have to reapply. This product works beautifully on them! I haven't had to reapply yet and they are still beeding off water like no-ones business and is soft and pliable! I've put it on photos to keep them from sticking in these humid Midwest summers, on leather bags and wallets that have texturing that would otherwise swell and become smooth if I were to use oil or lotions, on plastics that would crack and fade from long exposure to the sun and heat.It does have a potent smell when you open the container (like a slightly less harsh gasoline smell, because hey it's made of petroleum) that will go away after a few minutes after applying.I simply can not recommend this product enough to everyone. It does more then it should and does all of those things well!
