Bachmann10" Straight Terminal Rerailer With Wire - N Scale

I needed this to help keep my N scale train on track for my Christmas scene layout - I had the regular curve rerailer, but needed the straight track section to make things operate smoothly.

What all can be said about a piece of plastic track? The rails are metal. The wire connector seem a bit finnicky, but holds together well. Um, I used it to rail and re-rail some cars, though it seemed easier sometimes to do that on a normal section of track.

For my grandsons, this is the best track ever.

This is like buying an umbrella to prevent it from raining. I put off buying this because I always thought my train was stable and I wouldn't have to keep putting cars back on the track. So I finally broke down and bought this and I am hoping that means that with a stable train I won't have to put cars back on my track again. But it seems like it works as expected most of the time. I would say it successfully rerails cars about 80% of the time.

Anyone who uses N- scale model trains, knows how easy it is for them to derail . This is perfect for your train set up. I put them right after a curve, to correct wheels if they miss aligned during the turn

Horrible quality, the ez track thing is far from it. Buy Kato or Atlas.
