Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition (Renewed)

I had tried buying these on auction sites and elsewhere, but they were always the poor quality knock-offs. This arrived and I was please to see it's authentic, with the proper Nintendo power brick and cable. I hooked it up to my LCD and it works great - playing the games as intended, and also allowing me to do what most NES Classic owners do (look up Hakchi 2). Recommended!

Product received was a genuine Nintendo product with a branded AC adapter and HDMI cable and one controller in like new condition and in perfect working order.

The usb power cord they sent with my order doesn’t work. I used a different one I have and it worked and the product now works fine. The website they provide to give your feedback on the item isn’t up and running to do so.

We are having sooo much fun playing this Nintendo I so recommend getting this game reminds me of old times and we have so much fun, don’t have frogger which is sad because we used to like to play frogger but it has the majority of the games we had when we were younger.

I bought this for my family last week. It was my spouse's idea to get this for our son's 6th birthday. We all like playing it and no issues so far. It was very easy to set up and start using right away. I like the demo mode that will start if you are not using it.When I opened it to set it up I couldn't find the USB cord that attaches to the AC power supply. I contacted the seller and they sent a response right away and we're so helpful! I actually ending up finding the cord later. I think my spouse is responsible for misplacing it, lol.

So I was thinking before I bought this that they may not have put enough CPU power into the emulator to reflect that absolute true responsiveness compared to the original hardware, and I think this might be the case. Myself, I would really need an immediate side-by-side comparison but my wife who grew up playing these games says that the controller feel isn't quite as responsive as the original. It is not exposed as much when playing Dr. Mario but she says it's more pronounced with Super Mario Brothers and Legend of Zelda. This is not an issue with the controllers themselves but rather how quick the game responds to a button press. It may not be super obvious to many but there may be a .05 to .1 second delay or something (I'm just guessing at this), but enough to make it seem just a bit out of touch compared to the original hardware.Still a nice unit (so far). I did get the controller extender cables so those are nice. Also the controllers came with replacement internal parts which tells me that they wear out often?

This was a gift and according to the giftee, they cannot put it down. oh yeah, it only comes with one joy pad.

Works as intended, until it doesn't. Glitches and turns off on its own.
