Paradise Fruit Extra Fancy Fruit Cake Mix, 16 Ounce

This mix always performs well in my fruit cake recipe. Love it.

I could not find this anywhere in my local stores and needed it to make Stollen bread for Christmas. I was apprehensive about ordering it online, but it came in a nice carton and was delicious.

This fruitcake blend is impossible to find in stores, even during the holiday season, and once again Amazon came through in a clutch, and I was able to make my eggnog bread. The fruit pieces are nicely sized and the blend has a great balance. The flavor is not overly sweet or too gummy to mix. A great item that I will order again.

After looking at the available options, I decided to try the Paradise Fruit Extra Fancy Fruit Cake Mix for my Christmas Fruit cake. I find it to be of good quality and is reasonably priced. It has plenty of cherries in it. I had also added dried dates, almonds and cashew nuts to give it the extra natural sweetness and crunch to it. I will buy it again.

Good to use in making fruit cakes! Price is a little high, but it is higher at local stores!

My problem wasn't with this candied fruit other than the ridiculous price but it doesn't come with the batter mix. The one they give you on the tub is to my mind way overly complicated and takes $40 more worth of ingredients.

Besides already being chopped, there isn't very much of the "candied" lemon peel that's so bitter. The taste and texture are fine.

This is a great addition to my fruitcake recipe.
