Perfect for Black Forest cakes and Caribbean rum cake, it helped to circumvent making your own, which came very close to homemade burnt sugar.

I had been looking for something like this to help me when making a Cajun Brown Gravy. This did the trick. It helped to darken the gravy and there is no added taste to the gravy. I only had to add 1 teaspoon of it to my gravy to get it just right. Very good product!

This product was used to make the Jamaican black cake. Good color and flavor. Kudos to the shipping department. The jar had leaked a little, but it was wrapped and taped so well, it didn't cause any problems. Just rinsed off the jar and we were good to go. Would use this seller again.
