Libby's Corned Beef Hash, Canned Food, 12 - 15 OZ Cans

An easy and fast, good tasting lunch. Just enpty the contents into a bowl, cook for a few minutes in a microwave and its ready to eat. This is one of two brands I buy regularly.

I moved into an apartment in May 2023. Since I don’t have transportation and use a wheelchair, I get all my food delivered. I prefer canned food because it’s quick and easy, and I only cook for myself. I tried several brands of corned beef hash from Walmart and found that I liked Libby’s the best for its taste and consistency. Walmart’s stock was low, I ordered a 12-pack from Amazon at a great price—$34.56 for 12 cans, or $2.88 each. I decided to double up and ordered two packs, but ended up with three. I wondered what I would do with so much corned beef hash, but during tough times, I stretched it by adding vegetables, eggs, rice, beans, textured soy, or putting it in a tortilla with some cheese. When I’m out of ideas, I reach for a can. Prices have gone up, and Walmart no longer carries it in-store. With only three cans left, I’ll soon be ordering another 12-pack. I like Libby’s Corned Beef Hash, and making my own is the alternative.

This is a very good corned beef hash, but wetter than others I've purchased in the past. It will dry out in the pan if you fry it in a large skillet on high heat and frequently scrape the bottom of the skillet. I use my largest nonstick skillet and a stiff nylon spatula for this. Once the moisture is gone, it will crisp up nicely and is delicious. But it's more difficult to cook than Mary Kitchen/Hormel, which tastes nearly as good.

If I haven't tried every brand of corned beef hash it's simply due to oversight. Libby's is the only brand that actually tastes of corned beef.It develops a nice crust in a hot pan,is juicy,and you can tell that corned beef is the protein ingredient.Our family goes through a case in 4-5 weeks,because the grandkids love it.Thank goodness you can schedule delivery when needed.On Sunday mornings topped with fried eggs my two granddaughters and four grandsons will easily take care of four cans.

I've been eating the Hormel hash, but I've heard Libby's is one of the best canned corned beef hash brands out there so I thought I'd order a case as no stores near me carry this and man the flavor of the meat is very good, kinda salty but I like that, and the potatoes are slightly bigger than the Hormel hash. People that like it crispy need to fry it for 5-6 minutes a side as I noticed it's a wetter hash.Anyways yeah this is good stuff. Its filling, tastes good I think it's worth the higher price tag.Would definitely order again.

Delicious. When the apocalypse comes I want to be trapped in a shelter with 100,000 cans of this and a cast iron skillet to fry them up crispy in. And a source of heat for said skillet. And the internet. And a nice home. Forget the apocalypse part. Eat this.
