Careful separating the "chrome" covers. And NO SCREWS.
Just to clear this up once and for all, per the image of the product, there are NO SCREWS INCLUDED.Secondly, it is easier to split an atom than to separate the "chrome" plastic buttons from the screw washer. Be very careful if you are using a small flat head screwdriver to pry the "chrome" button and the black retaining washer apart. If you slip, you could nick your hand, jab your thigh (if using your leg for leverage as I did), or worse. Suggestion to the manufacturer: SHIP THE PARTS SEPARTATED. One also needs quite a bit of pressure, angling the "chrome" button to push it back onto the retaining washer. I used a 5 lbs. rubber mallet. This could be considered a security feature as no passer by is going to waste 10 minutes prying this button off.Overall, it's a good item, save for nicks and marks now on each of the "chrome" button.

You get what you pay for it seems when it comes to auto accessories. This plate frame came straight from a dealer and is an authentic BMW part. It looks perfect, is made of durable materials and went on perfectly.

My mom loved it. Thats all matters. I think it looks sleek and I do like that too.One down side is the the caps to cover the screws and not sturdy enough. Other than that all is well.

descent enough product
Went for this because it is made of stainless steel and therefore should not corrode. The quality of the frame is descent. There are chrome colored plastic caps that cover the screws. One of these separated from the washer part. But it does snap fit into the washer part so should be okay. Just not the most robust design for this price.
