Basically Impossible to crochet - resulted in a hilarious fail
I bought this to use to crochet a black pomeranian for my nephew. I didn't realize what a foolish idea that was until I tried to do it. Black yarn is hard to crochet as it is since it is hard to see your stitches, but this fur made it IMPOSSIBLE because it's black AND you can't see anything because of the long fur, lol. It was honestly a hilarious epic fail. I redid the pomeranian in plain black yarn, and then sewed this to the body. I had to brush it out to pull out the long fluffy fibers. It worked out okay doing that, but I would DEFINITELY recommend against using this yarn for any crochet, lol. Oh and it periodically will get caught on itself and just form a knot that you can never undo as you try to pull up a loop, lol. It's probably much easier to knit, and might be possible doing a flat rectangle of crochet (like a scarf) but it would still be extremely difficult to work with. And for the record I've worked with all manner of pain-in-the-butt fluffy yarns prior to this (I love velvet yarns even though they have that knotting issue too) but this was next level impossible to work with. I feel like this would make a hilarious competition, "Who can crochet a 4"x4" sc square with this yarn the quickest! Ha!

Vivid color
I purchased this yarn in red to make a fluffy heart pillow for my granddaughter for Valentine's. Its almonst finished and looks darling in the bright red and its puffy and fluffy. I used two strands of yarn at a time to make a full knit look. A little challenging because this yarn is silky and made to look like fur.

Very poorly blended multi-color yarn, resulting in a color change every 12 feet or so
When purchasing a multi-colored skein of yarn like this, I want to make something multicolored using the blend of colors displayed in the yarn ball. I don't want something that only changes color every 12 feet, and which results in a striped piece of work (which I can do myself with multiple yarn colors!) rather than a nicely blended multi-color pattern. See attached pictures for an example where this "Deep Sea" yarn resulted in a striped scarf, while the YarnBee purple scarf I made previously had a much more blended result of colors. In addition, the actual fullness of the fake furn yarn was not nearly as full as what I was used to, resulting in me having to use a much smaller hook for the same fluffy effect. And it doesn't feel as soft as other fake fur yarns I am used to.The one positive thing I think is I haven't found any breaks in the yarn yet, and it does seem to be a nice quality, which results in me giving it 2 stars despite it's lack of fullness, softness, and color variety. This brand might be nicer for solid color work using smaller hooks, but I'd advise against their multi colored yarns, or using this brand if you want to do a larger/looser pattern.

Great for scrunchies and flip flops
I bought this to crochet around a pair of flip flops. The price is a bit more than my local store, but I really wanted this color.

My favorite yarn to use for making a boa
My favorite yarn to use for making a boa. 2 skeins of lion brand Fun Fur, cast on 6 stitches with size 13 needles, knit to desired length. Quick to knit up and a funky accessory.

Yarn difficult
The yarn is nice but difficult working with it. Easy to drop stitches. Jacket and tam hat for a child.

This made for adorable fur trim
It's long and a lot like whiskers or eyelashes. We used it to make trim around the ears on our fox stuffies. Very cute.

Good results
Have knitted several 12" pillows for my granddaughters using this yarn. Can be knitted quickly and results in a beautiful, soft pillow. Had to use larger needles than suggested in order to get the right gauge.
