Crash Team Racing - Nitro Fueled - Xbox One

I like this video game because it was fun to play with my husband I like that it was a two-player game

As a long time player of CTR from my childhood, this game hit the high standard Mark I had set. If you like the classic game, this new remake has the "classic" mode available to play just like before. The new "Nitro" mode is great too! The mechanics of the driving are very nice too. If you are used to Mario kart like I was for a while, if will take a few races to get used to. The power sliding mechanic is much different than Mario kart.All in all, this is a great party racing game. I'm starting to prefer it over Mario kart because of the racing mechanic. The items are a lot more strategy based in this game. A lot more road drop items to use and dodge. In Mario kart, there was only a banana. It always felt like in Mario kart that no matter what your skill level was you could win (or lose) because of the items. In CTR the items are much more balanced for competitive play.In this game there are a few new maps and an online racing mode as well! My friends, wife, and family all love playing this when they are over. Definitely a 5 star game, especially for the price.

My wife grew up playing this on PlayStation, nice that we can not play on Xbox together.

Fun game.

The game itself is fun. There are a couple issues though. First, in order to use most of the characters you'll need to play through the single player portion of the game and unlock (or buy) characters and cars. Second, the loading times before each match are crazy, we're talking like 2 or 3 minutes (no exaggeration) before every race, its been mentioned in other reviews, but it slows things down so much, kids get bored of playing due to all the down time.

It's not Mario Kart, but you've got an Xbox. Probably next best bet.

This game is so fun! I still have the original CTR which came out on PlayStation and they stayed true to the game. I Purchased this on xb1 platform. Have yet to play the online mode but the arcade mode mirrors the original game. In addition, there are loads of new tracks, characters, and customizations. Fun for any age— especially if you were like me and loved the old CTR! Worth the money!

My kids used to play this on their Play Station 1 back in the late 90's . We all had fun playing it . Now my kids have moved out and married. When they come over they pop this into the Xbox, and we all have a great time plaiying it again . So much fun . Harder than I remember though...... it's me getting older I know :) .
