LOVE this tea!
I'm a die-hard green & black tea fan. I've never fallen in love with a white tea until I tried this great seasonal tea from Harney & Sons. I like it best when I heat my water almost to boiling & I let it brew for 3 minutes. I add just a tiny splash of agave (and I never sweeten any of my teas but this tea does taste best, to me, with just a little bit of agave). I do make sure to drink it hot since once it's cooled too much, it can turn slightly bitter. But I absolutely LOVE this tea--in fact, I ordered a 2nd tin to give to my mother-in-law and I decided to keep it for myself. I can drink this tea well into the night since it has minimal caffeine. All in all, I love the mix of spices--it's very refreshing & delicious. I plan to make sure to stock up on it before it sells out for the season. ;-)

Like being wrapped in a warm embrace…
This tea had an unexpected effect. It relaxed me so much I almost slid off the couch. My friend had a work emergency that stressed her out, so I made her a cup. It relaxed her so much that she looked at me and asked, “What’s IN this?” That chamomile, white tea, vanilla and almond really put a damper on the nervous system! So, this is a new nighttime favorite. I wouldn’t drink it in the morning, but maybe it doesn’t affect everyone this way.I will note that the almond flavor is lost in this. Pity.

Did not care for!
I really enjoy this brand of tea. Cinnamon Spice is amazing. I bought the Christmas Tea for the holidays. The tin is pretty but when I took the lid off I did not care for the smell. I figured maybe it would taste better brewed, nope. It is yukky! I threw it out. I bought cranberry instead for the holidays and it is lovely!

Fragrant & light bodied
I used to buy this tea every Christmas, but it's been a number of years since I've had any. The smell is as appealing as I remember. The taste is not, which I believe to be more about my altered sense of smell and taste than it is about the tea itself. How it can smell so much like I remember yet taste so different I have no idea, but perhaps it would be better for me if i try it iced. The smell is lovely, with a sweet almond quality and a creamy waft of vanilla. For me, the taste was somewhat bland. Again, my taste has been off for some time now, so if you enjoy white tea, almonds, and a scent of vanilla, give it a try. You may find both the smell and the taste enjoyable.

Taste great
Definitely recommend this one. I am picky. About flavors of tea and for a picky eater, drinker. This is definitely a good one.

Must make light to enjoy it
At first I made this tea really strong and it tasted very woodsy. The next time I made it, I made it lighter. I use a ninja to make my tea and coffee. The first time I used the “Rich” 10oz setting and it came out way too strong. The next time I used the classic 10oz setting and it came out perfect. In fact, I have used the same tea bag in my ninja to make 3 cups of 10oz tea using the classic setting and i personally feel it tastes better the lighter it gets

So Bland
I purchased this tea because I can’t have cinnamon and mint and it’s so hard to find holiday teas without either of those. This is one of the most fragrant teas I’ve purchased. It’s a pleasant, with strong almond and soft vanilla and sweet notes. But not so wonderful that I would want it as a scented candle.Normally with Harvey & Sons teas, I have to add a little sweetener to really bring out the flavors. That did help with this tea, but it was still very flat. The smell and taste reminded me too much of almond extract to be enjoyable. There were no after notes. It’s just strong almond smell plus strong almond taste followed by a weird, lingering almond aftertaste. This tin was also mailed in a flimsy plastic shipping bag, so the tin was dented on the front and top. I like to buy tea tins for display, so that was a disappointment.Overall, I don’t recommend this tea unless you really like almond extract or you just want to buy teas to smell them. To each their own.
