Jamo Studio Series S809 Floorstanding Speaker Pair (White)

I use them as left and right channels.they are not too large but they have a great sound for the price.i like the Jomo speakers because they look good and perform like a higher end tower speaker.

I am a High Definition Audio enthusiast and very picky with the components I select. These speakers have great review and an amazing price. I decided is worth the shot because of the return policy. The result: I truly love these speakers. It took me a while to get the best configuration for them on my Onkyo Receiver, but once I got there (frequency response, distance, ect...) the sound quality and clarity are amazing. (I have a room with acoustic treatment) I just had an old Infinity Reference Series speakers, but can say this ones sounds more clear. Of course, the price is not for best materials. You have to handle the speakers with care. But they are beautiful, and sound amazing. For the sound I like, no sub is required. Highly recommended.

These speakers are awesome. Great mids and highs which is what I needed more of. The way these speakers were packaged was absolutely horrible and the was some cosmetic damage to both speakers (cabinets) due to the terrible packaging. I was able to repair that damage myself. It was an easier effort than sending them back and hoping for better looking units. I was also missing 4 of the 8 floor brackets that mount on the bottom of each speaker to balance them. I had to improvise to make things work as you can tell from the angled stance of the speakers which I actually like. Overall, these are great speakers I just encourage the manufacturer or shipper to pay more attention to securing these units when packing them for shipping and make sure all parts are accounted for. Otherwise, I would have rated this as 5 stars.

I'm gonna start off by saying I am by no means an audio expert! However, I know what good audio sounds like. I have a pretty small condo and these fill it up nicely lol. I also have the 810 sub and could not be happier. The punch and are visually more impressive than the price tag would suggest. Absolutely beautiful

Obviously I wanted to like these for the price. My wife gave me strict white speaker guidelines to match our decor. She agreed to these as they are white with a couple ikea-like accents that could fit the bill, and reviews were favorable. She did ask "shouldn't you spend more?" Ha don't be silly I did my research. I can buy these a center and atmos toppers that plug right in. Wellll turns out she has better audiophile priorities than I do. Lesson learned. The build is poorly cut vinyl slab and glue that will likely go at any second. Like others have said, don't touch em once in place. Also don't get too close to them cause they will redissapoint you over and over again. These are a 15ft speaker. As for sound, don't believe your friends and neighbors who come over and say these speakers sound great. They listen to TV speakers and soundbars (we are among friends here). Mid range is non-existent. The highs are passable but over torqued and far from smooth. The lows are fine but we all have subwoofers. Even with the atmos toppers the imaging was unimpressive. They require a lot of power which is not indicative of a budget speaker. A week later I decided to piece back together the paper thin cardboard box and confetti styrofoam they were delivered in to send them back. I then skrimped and saved to replace them with the Heco Aurora 700. Which, after a few months of owning and feeling confident my ears weren't just starved by the Jamos, I decided to recycle their far superior boxes.(Unbelieveable speakers that image better even without atmos)

The speakers are absolutely beautiful, very solid design. It took a while to find the right settings on the equalizers as these sound a bit harsh out of the box, with not too much depth on voices, and my Yamaha amp was not able to auto-calibrate to my liking. Ended up reducing the lows and highs a bit to emphasize the 400 - 4000 voice band and now they sound great!
