Mercers Furniture Corona Pair of Dining Chairs

I have to say, for thirty-odd quid per chair, I am very happy. So much so that after constructing the pair that were delivered today, I immediately ordered two more.I did find after putting together the first one that the supplied glue is completely unnecessary, as every crucial joint is secured with a tightly-fitting screw. So I put together the second one with no glue at all, and it's solid as a rock.Why not five stars? Those six oversized black drawing pins (for want of a better description) that are hammered into the front for cosmetic effect are not that great quality; make sure you cover each one with a cloth before hammering in, or the black paint will be tarnished on the head. And the body of the pin itself is not that tough - one of mine bent very badly and then snapped off. I would recommend to knock some small nails into the chair first, then remove them and insert the cosmetic pins into the vacant holes.Although they look perfectly fine for what they are, I would suggest to finish these chairs with your varnish/stain of choice, and to add some seat cushions. That will add about 15-20 quid to the cost of each one, but I think is well worth it.

Good value for money

Was unsure at first, ordering flat pack furniture from amazon. But no need to worry. This was a really good experience and the chairs are well sturdy (& quite heavy). Built from good quality wood. Would recommend

Very good for the money. Almost a perfest match with my exsisting chairs.

Ive given the chairs 5 * rating as they are good strong chairs. Although i did have to return a couple of packs with faulty pieces, so it was a drawn out process. However i now have 6 lovely dining chairs.

The chairs have problem when packed they don't protec the seat and comes damaged!,,,

Love the look of this table. Great size perfect for my kitchen. Benches strong and fit under table for space. Chairs lovely design and strong also.

Lovely furniture, and brilliant prompt, friendly and efficient after-service, even though a few small screw parts missing initially.
