PortmeirionHolly and Ivy Dinner Plates, Set of 6

My mom has the set and was SO sad when they got discontinued. Surprised her with thus set for Christmas and she was over the moon! A great addition to her set.

I have coveted these plates for years and since no one else was getting them for me I took matters into my own hands and bought them for myself. I love the design and it looks beautiful with my red glass bowls and salad plates and stemware. The plates are heavy and feel substantial. The design is classic. The only criticism I have was they were poorly packed and rattled around in the box. One arrived broken. Had to return the entire order to just replace one plate. Frustrating but worth the wait

These are georgeous dinner plates. I hope Amazon gets more of them in. They arrived in perfect condition, and make beautiful tableware. Delivery was timely too. They aren't cheap, but when you get them you'll see why. They used to sell them at Gottschalks, and at the time, I couldn't afford to buy them, so since the store went out of business, I was really glad to see Amazon selling the plates and other pieces of the set so I can add to the few I have and someday have a full set.

I have had Portmeirion since my husband and I were married 27 years ago. It is still beautiful and stands up to daily use. The Christmas plates will be a welcome addition to my collection.

This is a beautiful Portmeirion product. It is very festive for the Holidays and yet very serviceable for any type of use. It is dishwasher safe, used in microwaves and some of the serving dishes are safe for the oven. The prices from Amazon were about 40% lower then we found in the stores with "big" sales.

These Holly and Ivy dishes always set a beautiful table. They can be used all winter long. Arrived without any breakage.

Love these plates and this design. Can be used way after Christmas as a winter dining set. Silverware does not leave marks. Durable. Quality product.

Bought these for my daughter to complete her set. Came packaged in bubble wrap and arrived in perfect condition. First quality, not seconds. Beautiful Christmas plates. As always they are of Portmeirion's lasting quality and style.

Just right for Christmas

Lovely plates but not the size advertised. I ordered 6 x 27cm plates but received 21cm plates instead. Box said they were 27cm but each plate said it was 8inches (21cm).Unfortunately had to return them.

Arrived as expected and were as pretty as the picture. Went in and out of the dishwasher several times without fading.

Nice plates however one came with faded pattern, cannot contact Amazon to get a replacement, please advise. Only want to replace the faded one with imperfect writing on the design, but only option given was to return whole set- expensive and fragile to do. Please can the faded one be replaced? Happy to return the 1 x imperfect plate if required. Thank you
