Hi Haley! This saddle is for plastic model horses (specifically Traditional scale Breyers), not real horses. It is adjustable to the model and attaches similarly as a real saddle would by it's girth. There is no place to "hold on" on english saddles as both hands are normally holding the reins. Hope this helps!!

Q: will this fit bratz horses?

It was purchased for my granddaughter who is 4 as a gift. It's to fit her collection of Breyers Classic horses which are 9"L x 6"H. Hope this helps.

Amazing saddle

This is a great saddle! I love how detailed it is and how soft the leather is. It fits any horse that is a traditional (1:9 scale I think). Here are some things you need to know about this saddle though: I recommend this for 9 and up. You have to be very gentle and careful, not for rough play. Be careful with adjusting stirrups. The girth buckle is a bit hard to pull the leather through, but you'll manage. All in all, this saddle is great! A must buy product for any breyer collector.

Nice scale saddle

Well proportioned, good scale model of a Dressage saddle. The construction of some of the parts are a little stiff looking, but perfection would be difficult in scale.

Worth the $$ is durable!

Fits all dolls, stirrups are adjustable, girth fits all horses. Saddle pad fits the saddle. Very realistic shape and size. Color beautiful and very flexible.
