Brocraft Aluminum Clamp on Rod Holder for Truck or Boat/Truck Bed Rod Holder

Bought this to keep my rods out of the bed of my truck when transporting my kayak and it's been great! Clamp it down and you're ready to go. Easily slide your rods in and don't have to worry about damaging anything while transporting them wherever your headed.UPDATE: bought in 2021 and about to use it for my 4th year(2024). Clamp it on in spring and take it off in the winter for the topper. The elastic has held up through our hot Nebraska summers so I'm very pleased with the quality of this!!

I'll echo what the other reviews on here have said, in my opinion it's expensive for what it is, but there's no other option out there similar to it, so that being the case, I guess they can charge whatever they want! Not unhappy with the purchase, it is well made and out of good quality aluminum and moulded parts. I was looking for a way of carrying my fishing rods in the back of my truck with a camper shell and being able to lock it and keep them secure. It definitely fits the bill for that. Note, in my case, I'm using this for two-piece surf rods, if these were normal one 7'-8' rods, unless I had an 8 ft bed, this would not work as I was planning. Another thing to note, if using these to hold and transport two-piece rods, especially heavier rods like 10'-12', you will most likely have to make some slight modifications to the hook shaped end to get the rod to actually go up in it to be secured. I had to cut the ends a little bit and reposition the rubber bands so that the rods would slide up in there. Still holds them very secure, no complaints otherwise.

Nice holders but could use some improvements on how they screw onto truck. They come loose and for the price they're a little on the cheap side of quality. Have had some people ask me where I got them tho so overall happy with them. They hold the rods in nice and tight and are versatile in how you can mount them. Horizontal or vertical.

Will not work for boat with the edge angle out to water its was raised up to where if a rod bounced free it would dump in the water would not sit straight or face down towards boat no matter what I did

Clamp isn't big enough for a truck with a cap. For over $100 you would think the product specifications would clarify that. Other than that, the quality is amazing and will still use this. I just ended up making a rig for the inside of the bed out of 2x4s to support the holders instead

So I installed it today and one of the rubber ring broke right away. I like the product and installed easy and is built sturdy. Customer service reached right out to me and got me a replacement. Great customer service
