Tanks and Armored Vehicles, Dover Coloring Book

My 9 year old is obsessed with tanks and wondered if any coloring books existed. I of course went straight to Amazon and found this!He loved it and the pictures are the whole page. Keeps him quiet for a little while!

My 7yo isn’t into coloring at all. But I wanted him to have an activity on our trip so he didn’t get bored of reading. He loves tanks and this book has pictures to color AND lots of facts and info about tanks. It has all his favorite tanks and he loves the book. Great purchase.

This would be a fun book for an older child, ages 5 to 10, or maybe a mature 4-year-old. For my toddler (who is 2 years old), the illustrations are so complex that they're over his head. Also, a lot of the illustrations are repetitive. They all just look like tanks to me (this book should just be titled "Tanks Coloring Book" not "Tanks and Armored Vehicles"). One more thing to add, because there are so many lines and because the pictures aren't terribly different from one another, I'd recommend coloring this in with crayons or colored pencils due to the increased range of colors and accuracy over say an 8-pack of colored markers.

My 7-year-old son loves tanks. The pages are thicker and don't ripe easily. My son has loved learning about the different tanks and when they were used. Great book for anyone interested in tanks.

Great presentation of the evolution of tanks with interesting text, well drawn in interesting settings. Paper is thick enough for colored pencil work, I don't know about markers.

My boys (ages 3 & 5) LOVED this coloring book. They love all things military right now. But this would be great for older kids/ teens with an interest in military history too. The pictures are very detailed and include information about the country of origin and what war(s)/ capacity they were used. Pretty cool.

I like the clean images. This is ideal for kids and grown-ups. Dover always does a nice job. Outstanding images for the amateur and the serious researcher. Great for schools. I gave it five stars because of it's clarity of images and it's usability of the illustrations. Dover has yet not to find me not giving their books five stars and each star is well served.

My son and I do this together for a special fun activity. We both get rather obssesed with making each picture as perfect as possible. The pictures are very detailed and well lined to make it work for a kid or a amateur like myself.

Great colouring book. Our tank mad 6 year old loves this book. He generally isn't that interested in colouring and also struggles with his handwriting but the fine detail in these pictures has engaged him and encouraged him to use his fine motor skills to control the colouring pencils. The additional information provided under each picture is an added bonus. I can see how these books would appeal to all ages. I will be buying more in the series.

Utter crap

Recipient more than happy. good selection of tanks from WW1 to present day. downside is paper a bit thin so pencils only .a felt tips and similar will appear through onto page beneath.

I bought this for my Grandad who in his 80's and he loved it its full of information and detailed pictures but not graphic

A wonderful book, haven't read it properly yet as Birthday present for my son. He will love it tank made.
