Not catching anything
So not very easy to snap on the guards. You really have to push. Also have had traps up for a week now and have caught nothing. They were hi g on back porch, and by our sheds to help with carpenter bees and yellow jackets. No luck so far.

It's pretty
It's very decorative. It does not last long if it's not under cover or inside a barn or building protected from the elements. The only thing we caught was bees and flies, not a single biting fly as advertised on the one trap. The other trap we didn't catch anything. I gave one star for how pretty it is, and one for how easy it was to assemble. It failed on everything else.

Great flying insect trap!
Work great to help control pesty flying insects. Easy to assemble and hang. You don't have to worry about running into a nasty sticky fly strip. Hang them in your fruit trees once the buds have dropped, eliminates the majority of non-benificial flying insects that destroy your fruit.

Works VERY well
I bought two of these to try them out nd WHOA do they work! i hung both up and they are almost FULL of gnats., flies, mosquitos, and moths after only a few weeks. so much so that i am having to buy two more to replace them with. They are mostly black from all the bugs that are now stuck to them. So much for the camouflage pattern, eh? LOL

Against the Fly-Geneva Convention
Caught so many flies. Just a disgusting amount of flies. Had to reorder within two weeks. I hung two in the backyard. The one with more sunlight caught almost three times the flies. So I threw out the full one and moved the other. Caught a hornet and another couple small bugs. But almost entirely black with flies. It's really an unfair advantage. But ef 'em.

Ok
We have both the fly and the wasp traps. The wasp traps definitely attract wasps better than the fly trap attract flies.

Ok fly/bug catcher
Its ok. If flies bump into it they get stuck. Does not seem to attract them
