The Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramels were not the quality I had previously tasted. I received a container as a Christmas gift and liked them so much I decided to buy another container.I noticed when I looked at the unopened container that the chocolate was a whiteish color and not the dark chocolate color of the previous container. I checked the freshness date, and it was 5/25/26. After tasting the caramels, the taste was not as good either. My guess is that this container melted at some point, and it impacted the taste.

A little salty and a little sweet curbs both of these cravings in one little square.

The product itself: It is a wonderful treat. Delicious caramels coated in dark chocolate and dusted with some sea salt. Had recently purchased at Costco and loved them so such, I ordered more from this seller.Delivery: That is a different story. This was bought as a two pack. It came is a cardboard box with no padding or cushioning. The box was dented (assume that it occurred during shipping) which broke one of the plastic lids on the container (found the broken part of the lid inside the shipping box). Fortunately, the safety seal on the container was still intact so I decided to keep the product although it had been damaged. No sure why the seller did not take more care in adding some protection for the inside of the box to help reduce potential shipping damage.

My husband loves these. We can't be without them. They are rich and creamy. Very satisfying for a sweet tooth.

my jar came in late may 2025, with no protection from heat (one big gooie mess ) don,t buy in warm weather ! the chocolate is great !!!
