Bonaire Ultimate Hose Nozzle with On/Off Switch, Black, BON-04643

Although it's new, it appears to be well made. Has a continuously variable spray from fine to broad. Also has a lever on the side to adjust the water flow. So far, very pleased with this product.

I was looking for a multi spray nozzle that would last longer than two years. This is the one! Built like a tank and has an infinite range of useful spray patterns. This particular model has an on-off switch so you can stop the water quickly at the spray pattern you want at the time. It is extremely drop resistant, which kills many of the cheaper nozzles.

I had these for years love them they are durable and last a long time the oldest one I have is 10 years old.

Once in my hands and attempting to use it as designed, I had to realize rather quickly that this was a good example of where customer need has been provided a good design & material solution for a more durable hose sprayer/nozzle - was met with a head-on collision of needing to lower manufacturing costs to the point where the original functions are severely compromised. * On/Off cannot be moved easily no matter how many times it's cycled w & w/o water present. Quite difficult for me, impossible for spouse. Thinking a dozen or so cycles of on/off would free it up somewhat, but after 5or 6th time, the plastic cover protecting the screw holding down the on/off lever popped off. * The ball valve is made of plastic that seats on silicone rubber instead of hard plastic making it very hard to toggle back and forth. (the more it's used with & w/o water, the harder it becomes to move) * The ball valve is hinged or pivots only at one point instead of 2 at the top and bottom, which allows it to move away from it's optimum turning axis - which is caused by the excessive interference fit silicone rubber seat.* The ball valve orifice is less 5/8" which in turn restricts the water flow even in the full on position. Would probably work ok w/3/4" hose and good pressure, but noticeably restrictive volume with 50' 5/8" hose @70lbs when fully opened.* The condusing 'Open' directive on the outer flared edge of the nozzle shows <----- Open-----> (to open turn both left or right), but in reality closed is all the way in one direction, and nozzle pattern shutoff is all the way the other direction.* Last but not least, the spray pattern adjust provides roughly just 3 usable watering patterns on 70+lbs of pressure, quite unlike an old Nelsen firemen's nozzle style that I have that is more graduated through most of the adjustment.Too bad they never asked a more serious gardener to test it at length before it went into production. But hopefully not all of these nozzles are as disappointing as the one I received (and returned Thanks to Amazon)

Real quality and not lightweight which is as it should be.

This product is rugged, well built. Unfortunately, the water flow rate sprayed seems less than other nozzles.

This is great!!!! Pay the extra couple of dollars. The on/off option is priceless!!
