New fast plant growth!

I have been very pleased with this Shultz liquid Cactus plant food. I love that it includes micronutrients and low urea. I use it for my succulents which are kept indoors, in individual pots and under grow lights. I can’t credit all the new growth to the plant food as there are multiple factors that have contributed (better watering schedule, plant repot, introduction of grow lights). However, I can definitely tell that the fertilizer has boosted my plants significantly since its introduction. I fertilize at the greater strength of 14 drops per quart of water as directed. In the images I included, I featured a succulent from its side, profile view. You can see the previous growth at the lower and under side of the plant is healthy, but smaller. The newer leaves at the top are bright, larger, longer, thicker and overall more robust. The larger and more robust parts of the plant coincide with the time that I had begun fertilizing. I also imaged some of my rosette succulents which have developed a more dense collection of leaf petals at the center. These succulents have definitely surprised me with their speed of growth, size and density of petals.Additionally, how one waters is also equally important. You cannot simply toss some fertilized water at your plants. I water my succulents several days after when the soil looks dry and when the pots are light when lifted. At this point, I place the dry succulent in its pot into a storage container (designated for watering). The sidewalls of the storage container are about as high as the plant pots themselves. I measure out a quart of tepid faucet water and apply 14 drops of Schultz cactus plant food. I mix the water thoroughly then I add the fertilized water into the watering storage container and not into the individual plant pots themselves. I let them soak for however long is needed. Maybe an hour or at least until I see the top layer of soil is damp. Afterwards, I remove the excess water and let the pots drain until no water is dripping, then back they go under the grow lights with drain plates beneath each one.Overall, I will continue to use this plant food and very happily so.

Easy to use and doesn’t stink

I have been using this product for about a year now and before that I was using fish emulsion. I think the organic stuff works great but I had issues with mold. This stuff works pretty good and it’s easier on your nose, so I just replaced it with a new bottle. Oh, it’s also super easy to use because it has a dropper built into the lid! I swear that was the best part 😁 Have a nice day

I would recemend for everything

It seemed to really help the overall health and growth rate of our new pair tree , just a baby but was lagging also tomatoes , Thai basil , and a couple others , a guy at Home depo suggested it when i planted a lime and mandrin orange trees some years back , they're both like all year pumping out fruit , i only put it in once when i first planted um , and also put in a bag of blood meal , which helped keep the gophers away , i guess it also gives um vitamins too , who would ever have thought that cactus food would be good for citrus , not me , but i'll certainly believe it now .

I use this for propagating my succulents and it works great!

Love, love, love this cactus fertilizer! I use it for my succulents. I have propagated many new plants. As soon as I started feeding them with Schultz's fertilizer they took off! The larger plants were a bit bigger than the size of the ones in the white container when I started fertilizing them. It took them about 6 months to reach the size they are now.Definitely buy this instead of Miracle-Gro's cactus/succulent fertilizer. This one gives you way, way, way more. I'm a nurse, so I figured out how much you'll get from this bottle. There are 826 drops in the bottle. If you're using this every time you water (7 drops per quart) , you'll get 118 quarts, or just a tad more than 29 gallons. Since I've got so many succulents I make this by the gallon, using a plastic milk carton. I haven't figured it out, but I'm estimating with Miracle-Gro you'll probably be only be able to water less than 24 quarts/6 gallons (but don't quote me on this. I do know you'd get much, much less). The first picture is of my succulents about 6 months ago. The second is of them now, so the larger ones have been growing about a year. The third and fourth pictures are of plants about 4-6 months old. The last picture is some plants I bought which have almost doubled in size from 6 months ago.To propagate, you'll need to break off a piece of your plant. You need to do this carefully, and make sure it's a clean break. Then leave those pieces out to dry, at least a week. If you put them directly onto the soil, they'll suck up too much water and will go bad. After a week or more there may be some that don't make it. You'll know because they'll look shriveled and won't be firm (you'll be able to bend them). Then, lay each piece on their side into about 1-1/2 inches of cactus soil. You can water them at this time. I wait until they're completely dry before I water again. Just so you know, you may have a few that don't make it once you put them on the soil. Different succulents work better than others, and there are some that I've not been able to even break off cleanly from the main plant. As you can see, the donkey tail plant does very well with propagating.I will continue to buy this fertilizer, but it'll take about a year before I need to (and I use alot!).

THE CACTUS LOVE IT

I have been using this product for over 5 years. I have 10 cactus plants of different species and they all love this food, so much in fact, I have to trim them back from time to time. I mix, to a standard 16.9 bottle of water, about a half a dropper full of this food and water them lightly once a week but sometimes deliberately stress them by skipping a week every now and then as I find this makes for stronger, healthier plants. A bottle of this goes a very long way. I highly recommend this product. (So do my cactus and their many babies)
