Hi Does it come with a blade ?
where is this saw made?
What is the length of the tray?
Does this saw have enough vertical clearance to cut a 4" thick block by cutting halfway through and flipping it over to finish?

“Powerful, Precise, and Built to Last!”

This 10-inch heavy-duty saw with stand has been a game-changer for my workshop. It delivers clean, accurate cuts every time, and the motor has plenty of power for tough jobs. The included stand is sturdy, easy to set up, and adds great stability. Perfect for both professionals and serious DIYers. Totally worth the investment!

Good saw, bad blade

I ordered this saw for my diy bathroom/shower tiling project. At first I installed the blade that came with it - and it was chipping cheap Mohawk porcelain tile badly. Like really bad. After about 20 cuts it got a bit better, but still the results were unacceptable. I decided to order another blade - Pearl P5 mesh and it was night and day. Now my cuts at good for visible install. The manual is terrible. Just one of the worst I’ve ever seen. The photos are rare and are wrong. The description is confusing. My recommendation - place the pump into a 4-5 gallon bucket. It will keep the saw cleaner, it will pump fresh water and not muddy water. Also, when you place it down under the saw you will decrease water pressure and it will reduce mist that is spraying everywhere otherwise. The saw does zero dust but mist water to left/front and right/front. So you need to cover the area around. No mist/spray to the ceiling or to back. The blade wasnt 90° our of the box, but it took me 7 min to adjust it with a square. Another advice - use the blade that comes with it for rough jobs, like pavers and stuff. For tile buy Pearl P5. The cuts are straight. Some people complained about the saw drifting, my doesnt. It is perfect for 24x12 porcelain. You can chop, rip or do straight cut. Make sure the saw is not level left to right, but instead has slight tilt to left. It will prevent water from running over tile to the right beyond the drip tray if you cut long tile (24 tile will extend beyond the drip tray if you cut slivers). I placed pump Into 4 gallon bucket, placed bucket into big trash can to keep splashes contained when the saw is drained (it has plug in a tray). This is $1k tool and I want it to be clean not dirty and ugly.

Easy to use, directions suck but after that it's great

I bought this as a homeowner doing a shower tiling project for the first time. The directions that come with this are a laughable joke. They are hard to read and written in black and white, making references to parts that are really hard to decipher. Luckily, I found a video online that somebody had made that covered in detail how to put the saw together. This video was just a guy on his channel, not from Dewalt. But it made all the difference in the world and I was able to put the thing together so much easier. Once together, it is a joy to use.Very easy and user friendly once set up. Easy to drain and fill. Easy to turn on and off and to cut with.My only other gripe is that the table legs are pretty darn CHEAPO. For this price point Dewalt could have thrown in some sturdy legs (I mean, just look at those mealy little chicken legs they put on there to hold up an otherwise nice saw). They could have added some locking wheels for easy transport, and just make the legs feel like they were high quality. They don't. They look like a cheap afterthought. I ended up building my own dolly with locking wheels so I could easily wheel the machine in and out of my garage when I want to use it. This makes it easy to transport, but does not solve the issue of the inherently cheap and flimsy looking legs. I don't know how long those will hold up. Who knows. I am not a tile pro, so it is not of a huge concern to me since I will probably sell the saw to somebody else when finished with my projects.

Drop dead fantastic tile saw for under $1,000.

It does exactly (and very well) what it was designed to do. Directions for assembly aren't so good. Pictures of some things in the instructions don't match what you actually get, so visual assembly is slower. It's not that difficult to assemble, but the instructions slow you down. Once you get everything together, it all makes sense and it's easy to move and assemble/disassemble.The blade that came with the unit is a DW4763. Excellent. I ordered two more spares for future, but I ordered DW4764s XP4 (supposed to last 4x longer than average blade). Today was my first day using this machine, and I cut over 20 13-inch tiles and it cut straight and fast. Why didn't I buy this years ago????Today, I also made my own bullnose tile from the stock I was working with. I installed a MK-275 6-inch, 3/8-inch diamond radius blade without a problem. Once I got the settings where I wanted, I made 8 pieces of 13" x 3-1/4" and 8 pieces 13" x 3" bullnose in less than 10-minutes. Incredible. I will note with 6" blade, I had to move the tile forward off the pushing guide in order to complete the bullnose cut. Otherwise, the blade would strike the sled near the measuring tape. Notably, the fence/guide on a smooth sled is awesome. What a huge money/time savings in tile and convenience as I needed custom bullnose cuts. The entire saw and stand are heavy, awkward to move altogether as one and it takes up some real estate. Fully-assembled, this unit is big. Portable, yes--but not easily. I break it down into 4 trips (plastic trays, pump and sled, motor unit, and folding table.Conclusively, this is a fantastic tile saw. It performs really well: cuts repeatedly straight and clean. I'd recommend this unit to serious DIYers, professionals and contractors. It takes patience and basic mechanical skills to get everything setup, but this time together also helps you to get to know the machine including features, parameters and adjustments. Just make sure you check/confirm table is sliding smoothly (rail system) and blade is 90-degrees to table and parallel with cut channel. Once you get this dialed in, it's a pleasure to keep firing out great cuts with confidence and precision. There's PLENTY of power from this 1.5 hp motor (in fact, you'll need to wear hearing protection). Just be sure to take care not to break any of the plastic components or leave anything behind at a jobsite as moving everything altogether as one really isn't practical or wise. Put it this way, even if you could move it all by yourself, you'd never get it through even a 36" door alone. Anyway, there is potential to lose something if you're not paying attention to details, so be sure to keep track of things during moves. Great saw. I'd buy another if I needed it.

Nice wet saw though heavy

Great saw when set up but is heavy. Square cut out of the box, no adjustments necessary.Carrage that brings work into the blade is smooth and stable. Too bad Dewalt didn't engineer this saw for a wheeled gravity rise type stand.
