These books (Cats, Dogs, Laywers, Teachers) are very funny, The cartoons in the current New Yorkers are not so.But these books prove you can be. I bought four of these cat books on teachers and one on business. Originally bought the "New" cat cartoon book from Amazon for my 11 yer old granddaughters Christmas. She so loved it, so I got this one (Used! New book price out of my range!). Since it is on its way to her for Valentines Day, i have no feedback from her yet. She ignored all of her other Christmas presents until finishing the first one. I have devoured both old and new and find both delightful. New Yorker cartoons stand above the rest.

The New Yorker always has the best cartoons and I love cats. What could be beter than this book? I read a few pages and laugh, then pick it up and read a few more to stretch out the enjoyment. Thoroughly recommended for cat lover and lovers of great humor.

Have only flipped through book quickly so cannot offer an opinion except to mention well done - and obviously by people who "think" they know cat psychology. Does anyone really know cats?

This made a great addition to my collection of all things cat, and would make a thoughtful gift for anyone who appreciates felines. The cartoons range from amusing to hilarious.

Needs more cat-toons!. Too thin for all the available material at The New Yorker of which I am a big fan.

I love cat comics, and most of these were pretty funny. I have plans to get the second book of cats by the New Yorker at some point in time, though not in a rush. Once you have read through it a couple of times, it can get a bit dull. But over all, I enjoyed it.

amusing and full of cat based humour, from a range of talented cartoonists, the quality of illustration is good through out.
