Great product; heaven made steel and accurately square. Defiantly would buy again

Very nice.
I needed a z axis reference for my CNC build.Nice...

Perfectly Square, not Hardened
As square as I am capable of measuring. Edges needed a bit of deburring. Not sure how wise it is to invest in a non hardened tool like this. I feel like I really have to baby it so it doesn't take any dings. Even small bumps can throw off the flatness of the surfaces and pretty much any other steel can dent or scratch this square.

It’s an import
Ah some sides .001 and others .003. I kept it but could have been better.

Not ground and not square. Not even close
The sides, top and back of these angle plates are neither ground nor are they square. They're about .070 off square with a finish I can only describe as "saw cut." They aren't parallel either. The two working faces are the only true surfaces, and I even have my doubts about them. Useless even for rough fixturing work.

Deburring of product
The angle block was of good quality minus one very important issue. Being a machinist One learns very quickly that you need to deburr your parts. They sent this angle block with sharp corners. The angle block is heavy enough that if it slips in a person's hand it's gonna cut to the bone. Not deburring parts is unprofessional.

Square within tolerances stated.
Square Within tolerances as stated but looks like it was welded in some areas. Otherwise I would have given it 4 + stars

Excellent quality for the price
I wasnt expecting much given it's a 4 1/2 x5 x8 angle plate for only $113. It pleasantly surprised me though and exceeded my expectations in every way. All faces all surface ground to a nice finish and are square to one another. I couldn't get a 0.001" feeler gauge under my 6" starret machine square on the main face. The rest of the surfaces are square to one another within .002", most are within 0.001" though. The steel reminds me of 4140 HTSR (heat treated, stress relieved) like it comes from the mill. It's more tough than hard and resist scratching well enough. It should be easy to drill and tap as I'm sure they intended it to be. The casting is of decent quality with only a bit of roughness under the handle section. The paint is just ok but it's on there to stay. I originally bought this to use in a special purpose grinder I'm building. It's far to nice though and I'll be keeping to use it on my milling machine. Being square to one another on every face will make for faster setups and close enough tolerances for most jobs I do. I've paid a lot more and got a less from more than one name brand precision tool. Great buy.

Angle Plate not square to spec stated... but still too good a price
Let's be honest, nobody is getting an angle plate that is parallel to 0.00025" for under $100, even used. This angle plate measured within 0.001" across all surfaces. Didn't bother measuring squareness. Still respectable for the price. Some paint was dripped over the edge and need to be cleaned up before measurement. It also needed a quick deburring to clean up a few sharp edges. Good for most jobs on a drill press that require a bit more accuracy.
