Ener-G Foods Multigrain Brown Rice Loaf, 16-Ounce Packages (Pack of 6)

My son got Alpha-Gal from a tick-bite. He cannot have red meats or anything with animal by-products in them. This is potentially life threatening. He also cannot have gluten. This bread allows him to still be able to make a sandwich and it tastes pretty good. Specialty items are expensive though, but I'm thankful for the product.

This product arrived with totally different ingredients than listed in Amazon and cannot be returned. So I have to throw out 6 loaves of bread that cost half my paycheck. Thanks for nothing, Amazon and EnerG.

Great item if you are your child can not have many different allergen issue causing foods, or just need to be wheat/gluten free. Taste, and texture it okay,

My son who is gluten intolerant likes the taste and texture of this bread. I do recommend it. However, the problem is the packaging. 3 out of the 6 loaves were moldy. This has happened with other EnerG products as well. Amazon did replace them at no cost to me but it's a real issue.

Having food allergies, I have been using this product for over twenty years. Early on I found the Brown Rice Loaf worked the best for me and have stuck with it. It is best toasted at least lightly for use with jam/jelly or for sandwiches. As it is vacuum packed, I buy several cases at a time, it stores well. Occasionally a bag leaks and molds. Buying it locally, I exchange it, not sure what to do buying online. Without this product I'd have no sandwiches of the type I'm used to. It ain't wheat/rye/etc. bread but it works well for me.

Another person who ordered said it best - wished I would have read the comments... Brown Rice Multi-Grain Bread arrived instead of Brown Rice Bread - a waste and a complete customer fail."Supplier shipped multi-grain bread instead of the Brown Rice Loaf. I was purchasing the Ener-G Foods white rice bread, but when it was not available recently, I tried this brown rice bread. I like this better. It seems to have more substance.Since I started eating gluten-free, I've found it difficult to find palatable things to eat. I don't want cake, I don't want cookies, I want a hearty, nourishing bread. Please note that this is not like the very dense, full of grains bread I used to enjoy...[sigh] ...But I eat this toasted -- and enjoy it. I hope Amazon continues to offer it, and at a price I can afford
