Sweet deal!!!

Really solid board. Turns well. Smooth bearings. Gotta change out the bushings but that's it. I really just wanted to try out the Mini Logo trucks. Less expensive than just buying the trucks and I got a nice complete for $35.

Great board for the price point

At the fifty-something dollar delivered price that I paid for this board I consider it worth the price. I also own a higher end skate shop board with Powell deck, Indy trucks, and Spitfire wheels as a comparison. I bought this as an inexpensive diversion since I am away from home for an extended time and just wanted a simple activity to kill time with and maintain my sense of balance. The POSITIV board is not high end but it is not designed to be. It is a huge step up from what I have seen in the blue and white big box everything stores and toy stores and not that much more expensive than the boards they stock. This board it is a good quality complete board at a reasonable price. All of the components work together well and the quality is good. I'm an adult who grew up on skateboards and BMX bikes but never outgrew the fun they bring. If you are a casual skater, or beginner who just wants a fun complete board at a low price then buy this board. If you want something more then be prepared to spend more for higher end components and build yours from the ground up. The deck is very sturdy and the concave surface compares with my Powell deck. I also need to add that at a solid 230lbs I have not felt the huge flex I was expecting to feel in a deck at this price. The trucks and wheels are decent quality as well. The trucks tightened to suit me and the wheels roll smoothly. If you are used to the more expensive components then you will notice a difference, but it is not a huge difference. If you want a great starter or relatively inexpensive spare, then I recommend the Positiv.

Sweet deal!

The media could not be loaded. I like these a lot especially for the price! I'm 43 and just getting back into skateboarding to teach my 9 yr old. i weight 260lbs and these decks can handle my weight no problem! i ended up buying spares for when i do break one. bought one for each of my kids too!

All in all a great buy!

I just received the Andy Mac Crop Circle board a few days ago so I don't have much of a review. Right out of the box though, you could just tell it was a good quality board, especially for the price. As for the poor review someone gave about the packaging, I would have to agree; not the best. But also, not a good enough reason to poorly rate this product.I'm a 6'5" 210 23 yr old athletic male that hasn't skated in a few years. I just finished college and wanted to pick it back up as a hobby. I haven't owned many boards, since I just like to hop on every so often, but to compare to the other boards I've purchased in the past this one is far better. I use to buy Target/Wal-Mart boards back in the 7th grade and obviously those wouldn't compare. But I also bought a $100+ name brand board as my last one and this one, so far, is already better. I say its better because the price. It seems to be made like one of the more expensive boards but just less expensive.I'm not giving this product a 5 Star rating because 5 stars means it really wowed me and it takes a lot to impress me. Also, if I'm going to be picky, the board does veer to the left when coasting. Not I problem when I'm on the board though. All in all a great buy!

Best value skateboard

You can’t go wrong with this skateboard. $34.99 is a great price for an entry level “pro” complete skateboard. This way better than anything you find at Target or Walmart. It’s made by Skate One that makes Powell Peralta. Mini logo trucks and wheels. Great value.

Great board

I'm 28 now and have been skateboarding for about 4 years, on and off. I've had 3 boards to date, and they've all been $100+ brand name skateboards (Zero and Element). This time, I decided to try this board and found it feels exactly the same as the more expensive boards. I hopped on and skated for about an hour just now, and the ride felt the same as usual -- which is great! I got this as a way to get around New York City faster. I wanted to be able to skate to the subway station and occasionally ride around Central Park.I haven't tried any tricks yet and I don't intend to. To parents or beginning skaters, I highly do not recommend practicing tricks. You might get peer pressure about it, but just ignore them. Tricks are especially rough on your ankles and they can cause serious long-term damage. You'd want to be able to take hikes or trek up mountains when you're older, don't you? The dirty secret about trick skateboarders is that most of them can't walk properly. A kid at my university died on a skateboard when he went down a hill and fell. I remember having a sprained ankle (or possibly a foot fracture) from practicing the kickflip trick, and since bones in feet are so fragile it took 6-12 months to heal. So, I recommend you just enjoy the wind. Don't go too fast either, as skateboards have no braking mechanism. They weren't meant to go fast, and the smallest pebble or sidewalk ledge can trip you. The best ride is the one that ends with you safely home.

Very nice, apart from when a wheel suddenly jams

I bought two of these, one for my son and one for myself. I thought I'd keep him company :)One of the boards has been fine. In general the construction seems very good. However, one of the boards occasionally "jams". That is, one of the wheels gets stuck and the whole board just slows down dramatically, it has caused me to come off the board, luckily not at high speed. I have taken off the wheels and taken a look at the bearings. They look fine - no grit, or anything in there. I have added oil, to see if that would help. No luck - still the same problem. This has been happening since I got the board - so I put it down to a manufacturing issue with the bearings (my best guess).Based on other reviews, it sounds like I have been unlucky with this board. But I wanted to let others know of this potential problem.Update 5/25/13: I contacted Positiv about the issue and they sent me a replacement set of bearings for free.
