DELTA FAUCET R10000-PXWS, 4.88 x 5.06 x 4.88 inches

I was very happy with the quality and ease of installation for this faucet. Having only needed it for a shower, I plugged the bottom opening with a short pipe and cap. I wasn't sure what the screw valves were for but now I'm glad it has them. If, in the future, I ever wanted to replace the trim kit, turning of the water is as easy as screwing in the valves. They also make it wasy to flush any debris out. They also allow for cold / hot balance if one has more pressure. I left the wide open. The only warning I'd give to others is to make sure the mounting bracket, which comes attached, is screwed on tight. If it is loose, and the faucet wiggles, it's hard to access the two screws after installation. It's a well made product that is simple to install.

Temp control is so limited, you have to either turn your water heater way down or as we did- file down the stops. As others have complained, the temp adjuster is a plastic, rickety POS. I expect it will break long before the faucet needs replacing.Hardware is good quality chrome but the shower head is kindof ugly. Flow is weak though house pressure is very good. Hose is stiff. Handheld falls out easily and has weak flow. Worst of all, it off gases. It's got that sharp, oily chemical plastic smell. My overpriced new bathroom smells terrible and the door has to stay closed. I'm giving it a few more weeks, then I'll have to change it out.The screws that came with the escutcheon look like they were found in a jar in the garage. Not shiny chrome like the rest of the metal.The knob you pull up to activate the shower reveals a tacky, plastic piece. I've never seen anything like it.My plumber complained that Delta is more complicated and harder to install than Moen.So in the end, it looks good from a distance. Is a more luxurious scale than contractor grade stuff. Maybe will last a long time... But not really worth the cost.

While the tubing is definitely 1/2 inch PEX and I had no problem with crimping, this started leaking from the cartridge in just a little over a year and a half. I know it's lifetime warranty on the cartridge and all, but the last time I want to do is have to deal with plumbing again.Will for sure pick a different brand the next time I'm remodeling plumbing.

Great.. I am not good at soldering, of course I needed to solder the copper ends to connect the pex sides, but much easier then going all the way. This was my first time, I recommend to watch some youtube videos to get some ideas on how to install.

I ordered 2 of these valves and I received the items on time. However, they were loosely packed (just the valves). Some of the black plastic pieces were broken and or missing. Also, these PEX are for 3/8" and not 1/2". I determined this by simply trying to fit 1/2" pex tubing over the inlets and 3/8" pex tubing over the inlets. 3/8" pex tubing fits as I would expect it to and could easily be crimped. 1/2" pex tubing is a non-starter.I am returning these valves.

Do not like the valves with the shut off screws. I prefer the old style.

Was fairly easy to install. I put in a fiberglass shower in during our basement finish. I got the PEX version and had no problems as far as crimping PEX to the mixer. The Delta shower kit I bought fit with o issues. Worked great for me due to timing, I needed to rough in shower but wife was not ready to finalize shower trim.

Valve is easy to connect and feels solid. However, I’m experiencing low water pressure from it and I’m not sure if it’s the valve itself or the trim kit cartridge.
