Scotts Bulb Continuous Release Plant Food, 3-Pound

I have alot of plants, and finding a one type fits all isn't an easy or likely thing to happen. However, I have found a lot of success with this formula. It works well for my acid loving plants and my fruit and citrus. Just sprinkle it on, rake into the soil and water!

A friend of mine that is an old farmer has always had great yields and county fair winning produce. When I asked him what his secret was, he told me he uses a 10-10-10 fertilizer and gave me some in a ziplock to use on my vegetable garden. The results I got in my small garden were amazing! My plant size and yields of my tomatoes were obvious and consistent over several years.When my supply of 10-10-10 that he gave me ran out, I looked for a consumer available product and found the Scotts. I like the time release granules because you can easily see where you are spreading it. They are about the size of BBs. I've been using it for about 5 years now and it works as good as the commercial product in my opinion. This 3lb bag is just about the right size for my needs and is about empty now. I also use a little in the flower garden. Give it a try and I think you will see immediate results as well!

This shrub food helped our hedges a little bit. Hedges seemed to perk up a bit following use of product but were still in significant distress. I think the plants had more issues than this product could remedy. Directions for use are a bit unclear. Undecided whether I would purchase again.
