I ordered two for our grandsons w0o have developed and affinity for trains. I have one that was purchased for me several years ago and they always want to play with it. I thought it appropriate they should have one also.

My only complaint is that it is not 4 inches long, only 3 1/2 because they count the 2 little black couplers on the front and back and they add an extra 1/2 inch which doesn't seen fair and although it has a hook on top for hanging, it does not include a cord. A silverone would be nice or red even.. Now I have to go find something appropriate because I know my grandson will want to hang it up right away.It seems trivial, but to some older people it is info they would need to know.

I collect classic cars, and have a handful of classic car ornaments annually hanging on my Christmas Tree given to me by friends. But, I also have a Lionel Model Train Collection that includes this very engine. Plus, I run one of my steamers regularly throughout the year and every year under the tree. It dawned on me that none of my friends ever gave me a train ornament and I had none on the tree. Duh! So, I decided to give myself a gift and purchased this one. I love it!! Am still sorry diesels replaced steam, but I guess that's progress!
