Great budget tire.
I was pretty skeptical about buying an off brand set of tires, but ended up being pleasantly surprised by the set of tires. They mounted up and balanced just fine. When your budget is tight you look for the best bang for your buck, and I think these tires delivered there. As far as grip, they stick to the road when cornering just as well as the Goodyear tires I had on before it. I havent driven in a super wet situation yet, but I don't doubt they'll do fine. The tread pattern has enough sipping to direct the water away, well it it ought to anyways. Haven't driven in the snow either, they're listed as an AT tire though. I've put about 500 miles on these tires and am pretty pleased.*update as of 11/25/2016.I ended up pulling a trailer with a motorcycle cross country 2200 miles from Indiana to California with my Kia Forte Koup, and these tires did admirably. I did pick up a nail in the sidewall of one of these tires and had to get it changed at a local wamart for some Nexus tire. I will say from direct comparison between the 80 nexus tire to this one, the nexus tire doesn't have a rim protector like these do, also the Nexus tire doesn't have as good of a speed rating, load rating, or Psi rating as the Westlakes. The Westlake SA07's sidewall overlaps and protects the rim quite a bit. I never noticed it before. During the drive the tires never lost pressure and never lost grip even in a monsoon style downpour in Illinois. No real wear so far that i can tell, imperceptible really after about 5k miles. Still have a long way to go until it gets to the wear bars in the tread of the tire. Overall, I will buy these again for my car, without the first doubt.P.s. Westlake didn't give me a set of these tires like other manufacturers do for good reviews. *Although I'd love a free set of tires ;) haha, Hey Westlake!*

Great tire in every aspect.includ
No complaints here. Got them for my wife's Corolla. She drives about 60 miles a day round-trip for work. They ride great, no road noise, wear very well, and seem to do well in snow/ rain as well as dry pavement. Also hold pressure in varying temperatures. Don't hesitate to buy ! No need for expensive brand names if you're buying to use for commuting. Will definitely buy for my Accord when the time comes.

Swiss army knife type tire
Great tire for many economic uses. Good hydroplaning resistance and value for the money. I used this tire compound for drifting as well and it is very predictable and doesn't flat spot easily compared to other tires in this price range during skids and E-brake style turns. If using this tire for drifting I found the most longevity to be had by a slight under inflation at 26/28psi cold on my sn95.

These are good tires
I've worked in tire shops for years so I know tires. Currently working at a dealership which sells mostly high end stuff, and not really good prices. I shopped Amazon and Tirerack looking for a new pair for my car, and these Westlakes from Amazon were by far the best deal. They have a standard 5-rib all-season tread. They balanced out nicely, they're smooth and quiet on the road, and they handle very well. Even on snow and ice they were decent (though I've been driving all-seasons on snow and ice for years). By the DOT codes they were 11 months old when I got them, which is good. No complaints at all, and I don't think any tires at twice the price would be noticeably better.Except maybe treadwear. But I drive about 6,000 miles a year, so I don't need a high mileage tire. These should easily last me 5 years though, which is about when tires should be replaced whether the tread is worn out or not.

... decided to take the chance based on such a great price and I have to tell you that for ...
I was a little skeptical at first with some of the negative reviews but I decided to take the chance based on such a great price and I have to tell you that for me so far they have performed great! Very happy with the ride. I replaced my 225 50 17 with these on my Acura TSX so my speedometer is off by 1 MPH every 20 MPH, no big deal. Can't beat the performance for the price.
