Q: Does this product prevent "phase separation" ( process causing ethanol to draw moisture into gasoline)?

for what it's worth, I have a 2016 Mustang that I run Ethanol only and have for 5 years. Planning to get this to see if it helps any incase I do have buildup, but it sits from Nov to March every winter with a full tank of Ethanol and has never had a problems from it. We get wet winters.

There are two answers. If premium fuel 93 Octane is fresh in the tank just prior to storage the Lucas product will be OK. Longer than 6 months I would go with Stabil or like product which is advertised for 12 months. If you utilize less than 93 Octane premium fuel then use Stabil for 6-12 months of storage. Colin

The advertisement/label says it keeps the water from separating out. I've been using it for about 6 months now and have E85 stored in 5 gallon cans. Seems to be working

Q: How long can I store straight E85 in a proper gas container while using this stuff?

I have been around car trucks tractors etc. all my life. I Store gasoline in plastic 5 gal jug for up to 6 to 8 months with no problems. Gas stays fresh and no repairs needed in my carb. or fuel inj. motors. But I can not tell how long it work in e85. Hope this helps

This stuff fixed my check engine light.

I had a check engine light that was persistent and we couldn’t actually figure out what the problem was. So I bought a bottle of this and used it with some good midgrade gasoline and the check engine went out and never came back on. It is well worth the price and it only takes a couple ounces per gallon. I would recommend it to anyone that’s running some of this cheap ethanol gas. We have it really makes a difference you will notice it.

Missing cap

It was missing the cap when it arrived. It wasn't even in the box so it was packaged without the cap. Luckily the foil seal stayed in tact. I will have to find a cap that fits because I wont use the entire bottle in one use.

87 octane?

This is a must-have. If you're going to run low quality fuel in your lawn equipment or tractors, my John Deere will not run without it... Lucas, products are very good .Recommended
