One reveiw that said it was expensive. When you are looking at wool products you can immediately see the price is excellent especially because it is high quality wool. Wool is a miracle product that keeps you warm and breathes so you feel more comfortable. It will actually provide warmth when wet.

This wool blanket is the perfect weight, warmth, and color. I received it about 2 weeks ago and used it during this cold spell we’ve had. I have been perfectly warm and toasty every night. It did have a very strong wool smell which got better with an air/cool spin in my dryer. I soaked a washcloth with a combination of vinegar and fabric softener and tossed it into the dryer with the blanket and ran it for 30 minutes. It didn’t shrink, but I also made sure to keep the dryer on air and cool setting. There was quite a bit of wool lint in the lint trap, but the blanket came out smelling much fresher, and a bit softer. I love it.

Very nice, Heavy, quality wool, blanket, Overpriced, but nice. Came in earlier today, rather minor lanolin scent, no big deal, hung out in the cold winter air today for a few hrs, on my bed for tonight, no scent concerns. Yes, its heavy, thats why I liked it, tight knit, not too stiff as others have claimed, sage green looks great, I expect it will be a warm, winner, thats expensive. I was looking for nice lightweight wool blankets for summer and winter use. I purchased 6 different style blankets from a total of 3 vendors. All appeared to be quite suitable for my purposes.In this case, the Arcturis 100% virgin wool blanket is about the same thickness and texture as the old army blankets from the 80s (I don't know if they've changed in the last 45 years so can't speak to a more current comparison). It's not as soft as a wool BLEND blanket, but that's to be expected. I expected not to have skin contact with the blanket when sleeping (sheets and coverlet between me and it) so didn't see this as an issue. It's not scratchy (to me), just a bit like a towel that has been dried without a dryer sheet. It is heavy feeling when sleeping, so if you like to feel a bit of weight then this is a good product for you. Not heavy like a weighted blanket, but heavier than a light cotton one. I love it so far. The weather has been temperate so far as we are between seasons, so I can't speak to how it will feel in summer, but it's been wonderful in the 65 degree (F) temperature we sleep at.I also haven't washed it yet - probably won't have to for a while, but will change my rating if it misbehaves during proper cleaning.At this point I recommend it as a solid purchase!

This is Thee Best Blanket I have ever owned & let me tell you why. It is a very well made blanket with high quality wool. I have a California King size bed & purchased the queen size blanket & it fits perfectly. I am so pleased with this blanket, as it offers all the softness needed yet the toughness in material to last forever! I highly recommend this company as I have also purchased their survival blanket & yes another wool blanket. I love the feel, smell and sewing workmanship design edging this great product! This is a great wool blanket! It is heavy and well-constructed. I am particularly pleased by the edge binding as I am not a fan of satin-covered edges. Wonderful, warm blanket — highly recommended!

The good news: This is a warm, well-made blanket, and it looks quietly handsome on the bed. I sleep better under it, and fuss less about the temperature in the room. The less-good news: It is stiff and heavy. Neither good nor bad, just something to know: My queen blanket is large and would touch the floor if my bed were not relatively high off the ground.
