Dodge 2004-2005 RAM Truck Drivers SEAT Bottom Cushion Mopar

This was easy to install and what a difference. Amazing how much you've sank over the years, thought I was just shrinking due to age. Be ready to adjust your rear view mirror before you take off in the buttock cupping just like it was when it was new throne you have. I also bought seat heaters so I took both front seats out of my 04 Ram 1500 reg cab. #1 Replace cushion in drivers side ( Yes there were sharp edges on the seat frame not helping in the longevity of the cushion, I used some spray adhesive and window sill tape I had handy to cover up the metal frame before installing new one. #2 Install seat heaters both sides and wiring. #3 Vacuum everything normally out of reach. Lube up seat rails, yes I know you don't typically move the seats around everyday but you're there why not.

At first I was a little hesitant as there are three different pads available on Amazon, and I was unsure if this was due to there being different densities of foam. I can tell you The density of this foam was much better than the OEM pad. Additionally and while not mentioned in the product description; it was nice to find there is a mesh fabric on the bottom side to help stop your metal frame from cutting into the pad as happens with the OEM. Also it isn't that bad to replace the pad without removing the seat. The hardest part is getting to the plastic clips that hold the existing cloth Fabric in place but once you get them off you are home free. To remove the seat would have created a lot more work than necessary.

Great foam density that's better than the OEM foam I took out. Fits frame and seat cover perfectly. Easy to install and no need to remove entire seat to do this job. YouTube has good videos on how to. If your seat seems to lean to one side its because the cables under the cushion have become disconnected. Mine were pretty easy to reconnect. Recommend using some type of weather stripping foam to cover the frame and any other sharp edges to preserve your new cushion. I found some good 1" weather stripping at Home Depot that worked perfectly. Really happy with this product. I now have to adjust my seat all the way down and still sit higher than before.

It was a perfect match and fit for my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 drivers side seat. It was really easy to do. I recommend watching a couple YouTube videos and you DO NOT have to remove the seat. However, you will need to loosen 2 bolts (13mm socket) to access the plastic seat cover clips towards the front. Other than that, use your hands or a long flat head screwdriver for the rest of the clips. Also, take care when "stuffing" the rear of the cushion into the metal frame as it could rip the foam it not. It only took about 15 minutes from start to finish and the quality of the seat foam is superb.

It's different in color but it's an exact fit and it's easy enough to install. It's an amazing improvement to comfort sitting in the seat. I can't feel the bar under the legs anymore and it feels a bit like a bucket seat compared to the old worn out cushion. It's expensive for being foam but it's really worth it

Seat cushion fit perfectly, replacing original cracked and worn.Recommended : make it simpler for yourself and take the seat out to mount cushion and restretch seat cover... Not enough room on the seat belt buckle side to reach fingers in. Also, I spray glued a piece of flooring underlayment to the underside (dry fit and trim tight) to help prevent future direct wear on the foam. Deducted one star for lack of wear protection.With no electrical/switch connections, it was about a 90 minute process, including dry time for glue.Do your butt and your back a favor, you won't regret it for the price!

I've had this installed for few weeks now, fits like it should, much better then the old worn out unit. Don't delay replacing the foam cuz once the frame cuts thru the foam it goes thru your seat cover. I also hammered over the sharp edges of the seat frame and put some duct tape over them to help prevent cutting the foam.

Good quality way more comfortable than the factory one material was high standard no improvements needed
