Linon Hall Tree with Storage Bench, 36"W x 18"D x 64"H, Walnut

I have bought and assembled plenty of furniture in my life and this one here, without a doubt, delivered me the best experience ever. As I unboxed it, I could see how much care went into the packaging of the pieces. Both the way the hardware was packaged and how the directions were put together were great. Nothing was chipped, nothing was missing. The wood doesn't appear or feel to be particle board, but some other kind of wood and, if a veneer, looks and feel solid. And pretty beautiful. I put this in a room that has a historic feel and believe that this is the perfect addition. The table to the left of this is also by Linon and was just as great an assembly experience and looks just as nice. I feel both pieces were a worth the price and I'd even say they were bought at a bargain.

Over the last few months, I've researched a number of hall trees on Amazon. This was actually my second choice as my first choice sold out. I have to say, it was meant to be. This hall tree is beautiful and appears to be made out of quality materials. The color is rich, the size is perfect for our entryway, and the storage bins are deeper than I first envisioned; you could easily store throws and pillows in the bench. The top shelf is wide so there are many possibilities to display art, photos, knickknacks, etc. My husband put it together in about two hours with minimal assistance from me. He said the directions were easy to understand and all parts were labeled clearly. The only downside is the Allen wrench the product came with busted, luckily we had another one on hand. Overall, this product is stunning and makes quite the statement in our entryway. We purchased it for more practical uses as we are hoping this will be the central hub for backpacks, purses, and jackets once the school year starts. Hopefully, it is as sturdy as it looks.

Wasn't easy to build but wasn't overly difficult either. directions are tough to follow like many things these days where you basically gotta guess what the pictures are showing. most of them are tough to mess up but there's a few spots it's not very clear and easy to put parts together backwards or miss part of the step. it's pretty nice almost entirely out of real wood except the bottom and that's not huge deal to us. biggest oddity is like most furniture it's kinda on the small side.. not kid size but not really full average adult size either. so pay close attention to the dimensions and understand what you're getting. nice quality just a touch smaller than our previous bench in every way.

Easy to put together fairly sturdy I can hold my husband who is 250 pounds and 6 feet tall cats love it they can jump on it. I have a Maine coon at 17.5 pounds and he can jump on it and it doesn’t shake it. Hinges were good Quality like I said easy to put together and have a utilitarian use. Now you won’t be able to allow it to take a lot of damage so if you have kids jumping on it it’ll fall apart but if you’re using it in a proper sense like a mudroom where you sit down, you put your shoes on and go about your day it holds up just fine. Color is exactly as pictured and it arrived in a package that was not damaged.

This is an excellent value! It looks very good and is quite sturdy when properly assembled.It's a combination of solid hardwoods and engineered wood panels with real wood veneers. Engineered wood panels are very commonly used in furniture, and they provide a very stable core for use with decorative wood veneers. There's nothing wrong with good quality engineered wood panels when properly utilized in construction, which is certainly the case with this piece.I consider the color to be medium-dark and reddish-brown. I love that the hinges will hold the bench tops in the open position. There is plenty of storage for hats, gloves and scarves. The bottom of the storage area is not super heavy duty, so don't plan on hiding your gold in there, but there are ventilation holes so your hats won't get too musty.

What a pleasant surprise! So well packaged that it arrived without a scratch. Is solid real wood, smooth sanded finish, and a beautiful cherry walnut color that goes well with both my dark walnut wood chests, and my cherry oak cabinetry! All hardware and instructions included, pictures only, but easy to understand. Tackle it in phases, because the unwrapping and hoovering styrofoam beads takes a while as phase one. Took me about 3 hours to build with a light torque drill and both hex bit and small Phillips bit, as well as a craft hammer, but i took several breaks to put my feet up for a bit. TIP: build it on carpeting or a large workbench because you may be on your knees a lot if building on the floor.

The parts cannot be assembled as instructed. Either design is defective or I got a defective item. Not sure I will be able to put back in box to return.

I have searched and searched for the right hall tree to fit the space and this one is PERFECT! It took 2 of us to put it together - the directions were a little confusing but once we got started, it came together quickly. The worst part was the little tool you have to use - hard to keep hold of. Once finished it made a great addition and meets my need greatly. And even a bonus, I thought the color would blend well with the woodwork in my home, but was amazed how it matched the color exactly.
