Mad Mats Stripes Doormats, 4 by 6-Inch, Warm Brown

I love the colors of this rug - they are much more vibrant than they appear in the online photo. Also, you can't tell from the photo, but it is made of recycled plastic fibers, which are a lot like long, slender drinking straws, woven together. If you haven't seen this type of outdoor rug before it can be a bit of a surprise - it's very lightweight and even a little shiny.I wouldn't recommend it for indoor use - it's quite clearly a plastic mat. If you put it on a hardwood floor without a pad underneath, I bet it would slide around a lot.Overall, this is a great and very affordable outdoor rug - perfect for a small space, especially if you want to add a splash of color, but be forewarned, it needs to be weighed down or it will blow away, and it's not the most durable material. If you're planning to set it under a table and have chairs scraping back and forth over it, it will probably start to shred and unravel within a year's time. I used to have a very similar outdoor rug made of this same material and it was remarkably quick to dry, the colors didn't fade, it was easy to clean and easy to store...but it only lasted one season before it started to fall apart.

This is a nice looking rug. It's very practical for outdoors and does not look like plastic. I have mine on a concrete patio and it definitely does hold water underneath contrary to what they say but I would have been more shocked if it didn't. After 2 weeks out in the elements it looks like it will hold up well, time will tell if it will fade or not. I got the Warm brown (4x6 on a 9x9 patio) and it's pretty close to the color shown, a little brighter but not obnoxiously bright. Tones of red,gold(yellowish/orange),dark brown and a muted brown that has an olive hue to it. It seems like it will be very durable. It takes a pretty strong wind to make it blow up at all, if you put a table or chair on it there should be no issues.

I have 2 of the mad mats rugs, larger than this one. I bought mine because I wanted something to add color to our cabin floor and to conceal a couple of damaged planks in the floor. We have 3 small dogs that sometimes have accidents in the house and these rugs are super easy to clean. Not heavy at all. The colors are bright and don't fade. I have had one on the porch for several months. Doesn't stay wet or mildew as some patio rugs do. As for them not absorbing water in entryways, I just put a beach towel under the one in the entryway then wash towel when it gets dirty. These rugs do require a rug pad or Velcro tape under them if placed on hard floor because they will slide around/ I really like these rugs but they are a bit pricey, thus 4 stars.

I am lucky enough to live in south Florida....my little entrance hall has always been a problem...every room is tile...so the rug at the entrance catches all the sand and dirt....for 15 years I have purchased a large inventory of rugs to place at my entrance door...well...now II have to clean them...at least weekly...the washer I have hated the idea...I actually started to throw them away,instead of washing them as a new scatter rug was cheaper than a new washing machine...Mad Mats are great...First, yes it's plastic...no one has ever said..Ya gotta plastic rug!! The colors are just like the picture...I pick them up every two weeks...those them off...let them dry...Put them down...yes...I have to clean the floor under the Mats..so easy..a little mop..my tile is not harmed..I am happy...my washer is grateful...oh,,,one more thing...I have summer and spring and fall...roll them up...Put the new one down..then exchange the rug for the next season...

This mat is perfect for areas both inside and out, wherever you need a burst of happy colors that will stand up to hard wear and clean up easily with water. We use ours in our kitchen. So happy I made this decision! I immediately ordered a second, in a larger size. We have 10 rescue cats, so we need something durable, and these are virtually indestructible.

Great little mat. Very vibrant. Minimal fading in the few months we have had it down. 4 stars because it rock and rolls in the wind. We have to weight the corners down when windy. Given our setup, we will probably hit it with a grommet press so we can stake it down. It really was the finishing touch to our tree bench seating area.

I don’t really pay attention to what material the listing said this was and it is kind of a nylon/plastic type I think, which turned out great because it’s super easy to clean! It looks beautiful and adds a pop of color to my patio.

I used this for my front porch seating area. This is the 2nd one I have bought from there. Always top notched.

Although a bit disappointed in how "plastic the rug felt. It's now the end of summer, the area rug is at our front door on the porch and still looks like new
