These may be the first footwear that has fit in the last 20 years. I hesitate to buy shoes online because the fit is chancy but the "try for 7 days" offer undermined my reticence. I am extremely glad I did! Whether the fit thing will be true for anyone else is unknown but at least there is an opportunity to keep trying without losing any money. And, of course, the judgement is still out on durability and water resistance. The Mark One Eyeball says they will probably last long enough to justify the expense. Maybe I will revisit this review in a year or two and let you know.

Bought these shoes for work at a manufacturing facility. My job involves equal part being out in the field as it does being in an office and attending meetings. These shoes appealed to me because I like the look of my Clark's that I wear casually outside of work. These shoes are sturdy with good grip and durable leather yet they also have enough style to be seen as business casual. My only complaint is that I do need to make sure to wear thicker socks as the upper ankle will rub every now and then, but that may be me just needing to give these more time to break in. I also like that these are thick enough for protection, but not so thick that you feel like your feet cannot breathe at all. Would definitely recommend.

These are very comfortable boots and just fine for most yard work. The leather looks oily so they are no fashion boot and won't take a shine. A decent value for the price.

When I first got them one shoe was smaller than the other. When it broke in it was fine but it was a couple days of discomfort.What I don't like and why I won't buy these again was the holes I developed in the bottom in the soles after just a couple months. Won't get these boots again.

I used to wear Rockports about a decade ago, switched to another brand and decided to give this a try again. I've just been using the shoes a couple of days now, and they are just about average, nothing great.The shoes have the bare minimum amount of internal padding so you'd better have some pretty good socks. The leather/suede material itself is less than adequately pliable or soft, and so I find myself having to get used to the feel and it feels funny in places.With both left and right shoes, the portion of the collar towards where it's attached to the shoe feels like it's pressing down on the top surface of the foot, even when the laces are well-loosened. It is not terribly uncomfortable but it feels weird.There are other minor issues here and there, but on the whole I feel the quality of Rockports were far superior a decade ago. I remember the shoes I had then would be so comfortable that I would forget that I had them on. These shoes feel like they were just made because the boxes had to be filled and shipped.

The leather is a bit stiff.

I have a thick foot so its a bit tight over the top of the left footbeing leather it is molding to foot over time so not such a tight fit as when purchased
