Well written and succinct. A career-builder.
The distribution industry is complex and this book decodes the language of automation for those in the industry, even those with zero experience. It begins with a history of automation that you don’t want skip (as I was almost did) because the current state of the industry is informed by the past.In many ways, e-commerce retail is appallingly wasteful, and a deeper knowledge of systems is the critical path forward.I highly recommend reading this book.

Beyond comprehensive!
I've slogged around the field of supply chain technology for a few decades and resigned myself to the fact that it would always be an industry of learn-as-you-go. Until now. This book is an approachable, smart and objective encyclopedia of process and technology with uncommon business insight as well. In addition to being an amazing primer on an otherwise exhaustive topic, it shares the apparently deep experience of the 3 authors to make it a must read for those embarking on or enhancing their automation strategy. Bravo!
