I'd like the handle to be another 6 inches longer
The front of my house and garage are on the north of my house. The front step, sidewalk and driveway freeze and turn into an ice skating rink. This tool is replacing an old one. It's thicker and I expect it to do the chipping and scraping the retiring one did. I couldn't keep anything ice free without it.

WORKS SO WELL!!!
I live in Minnesota. If you have dared drive on your driveway after a snow and before you shovel, you know about the dreaded ice mounds it causes. (Sometimes you just have to get to work!) Cue me finding this bad boy! After speaking to friends and some local research, this was a great buy! I received it quickly and used it right out of the well packed box. Needless to say my driveway is now free of tire tracks ~ My only wish is that the scraper itself was a LITTLE wider, but that's a first world problem. I have also used it to chip ice off of the sidewalk after our recent thaw/ice/snow storm. This thing does the job and does it well! Bring it on winter!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Why didn't I get this sooner.
Winter in the midwest can be brutal- ice and snow. My snowblower is great but mixed precipitation can leave a film of ice or slush. This little gem scrapes it up and allows us to take our dog out safely. I highly recommend.

Sturdy product !
I was so pleased that I could purchase this product online. I was replacing one I had for years which was taken because I had left it outside. This one fits the bill and I look forward to using it in the years ahead.

High quality, well-built Ice Scraper!
I purchased the AMES Welded Ice Scraper to replace the 20 year old one I broke last winter. Everything I found in the local hardware and home improvement centers were cheap, poorly built knock-offs made of inferior metal. This one resembles the original one, and is made from stronger, thicker metal with superior welds. I highly recommend the AMES Welded Ice Scraper!
