I love marmite!

I'm one of those people who just can't live without Marmite, but I actually did run out a while ago while I was unwell, so I decided to cheat and get some from Amazon. This one was the best deal at the time, but I'm a Marmite purist and there's something not quite right about squeezing your Marmite onto your toast rather than scraping it from the jar with a knife. Also, you have to REALLY squeeze it for anything to happen, and I can see it being tricky to dispense when it starts to run out. So squeezy Marmite just isn't for me, but it might be for you, who's to say :)

I can never get marmite my #1 vegan spread in squeeze jars from the supermarkets. They only have glass jars which are not easy to use. I don’t know why marmite doesn’t sell in squeeze jars exclusively! Viva Squeeze Marmite!

Hate this jar.You need to be Hercules to squeeze it!!No money wasted as bought it on offer andwe still have the marmite but I would just stick to glass jars and a knife as that’s what we’ve resorted to anyway, using a knife.Highly recommend marmite, just not in this jar!

Great product, absolutely my favourite savoury spread on toast. Squeezable bottle makes all the difference in spreading it over bread or toast, vs a knife which tears the bread. Squeezable also lets you get more out of the container. Yummy stuff

Unfortunately, I am in a small minority of Americans when it comes to my affinity for Marmite and Vegemite, so this tasty treat can be hard to find locally. I can find the 125g glass jar at the local grocery store, but it costs almost as much as this 400g size, and is far messier to use. No matter how careful I am with the glass jar, I always end up drizzling some of this delicious, viscous treat onto the threads of the jar. Because of this, the next time I try to open the jar, I almost have to have a blow torch and a pair of Channel Lock pliers to get the job done. This squeeze container takes away all of the negatives of the glass jar. I now reach for Marmite more often because using it is so much easier, and as a result I have tried it on more snacks, in soup, or an ingredient to enhance the flavor of other meals. The Marmite Big Squeeze conveniently dispenses vitamin B rich deliciousness whenever you want it. What more could I ask for?

A traditional sandwich or toast spread. As delicious today as it was when I was a boy. Nice that some things don't change. I like it with cheese or peanut butter or both!! [NB This is a plastic jar so all the weight is in the product.]
