Hardcore wood block
Solid wood block! I wanted something a bit more durable than the foam yoga blocks, something with less give and more structure - and this block was perfect. I'd thought to go to Lowes or Home Depot to get some old wood and construct something this myself - it is after all a chunk of wood...but the price was less than what I'd have paid for all the misc. supplies and saved me the time/effort as well. A bit heavier than those foam blocks - but exactly what I wanted.

Wow, a half size yoga block!
I do Iyengar yoga and sometimes I need something shorter than a block, for example, in Staff pose my arms are too short to reach the floor or in other poses I may need just a little boost--not a whole block.These are lovely for that. They are smooth and a pleasure to place your hand on them. I initially thought I wanted only cork blocks for softness but I don't find the hardness of these bothers me at all. In fact, I find it very pleasurable. They are beautifully made and enjoyable to look at as well as to use!
