Hard water, laden with minerals like calcium and magnesium, can gradually damage your car's paint. If you’re dealing with unsightly hard water spots, DIY Detail Water Spot Remover is your go-to solution for restoring your vehicle’s surface. What It Does: Water spots are mineral deposits left behind after water evaporates. When addressed promptly, these deposits are easy to wipe away. However, if neglected, they can become stubborn and may require a clay bar for removal. In severe cases, water spots can etch into your vehicle's paint, potentially causing permanent damage that might necessitate wet sanding, polishing, or even repainting. Our Water Spot Remover effectively tackles stains on glass, paint, and metal surfaces, including headlights, chrome, and wheels. This easy-to-use, spray-on formula is safe for all exterior surfaces. It breaks down tough mineral deposits that cause water spot etching. For deeper etching, some polishing may be needed after using the remover.

Great stuff, necessary for road salt and ceramic
A little expensive, but a necessity to wash a ceramic coated car that was just driven through the winter season and you have to remove the salt deposits that are clogging the ceramic performance. Once I used this on my ceramic coated cat, the water started beading up again without a problem.

Did not remove 3-day old water spots from a ceramic coated car
Shipping was fast which was nice. You have to cut the tube that it comes with to fit in the spray bottle which while not the end of the world, was kind of annoying. I did appreciate that it came in a bag to contain any potential spillage (mine did not have any leaks).Unfortunately, this product did not remove 3-day old water spots from a ceramic coated car.. I will keep it for potentially unclogging a ceramic coating as I've seen this product recommended for that use as well or maybe in the future if I can get to the water spots same day.

Too expensive for acid - try vinegar first.
Too expensive for a simple acid. In most cases vinegar will do just as well.

Amazing product line..
This works well as a maintenance product for ceramic coating. Have used it on multiple vehicles and it amazes me how much hydrophobic properties it brings back to your coating..

Not for heavy water spots
Tried to remove water spots after washing my car but it did nothing. Not even fade them a little. No change after multiple applications.

Remover ?
I had my doubts but tried anyway. might remove spots in the making but not after they’ve dried. I don’t think any of these snake oil products do very well though. Water spots are tough without a little elbow grease or even better preventative measures applied or washing with soft water
