Lew's Wally Marshall Speed Shooter Fishing Rod

For a $40 rod and reel combo this is exactly what any fisherman could use for a backup rod and reel or it could be used by a beginner wanting to get a feel for a spinning reel. In my opinion it is worth more than $40, but I am accustomed to Lew's giving you more bang for your buck. If I had to pick a drawback it would be the rod itself. Although it is very lightweight, unfortunately it comes in two pieces and some may not like that. It is an easy fix if you want a one-piece rod... you can use either a heat shrink tube or JB weld to attach the separate pieces together. I honestly don't have any complaints. I intend on using this for a backup while I'm crappie fishing or a backup when I'm finesse fishing for bass. Great product 5 out 5 stars.

Nice , light weight trout pole , colors definitely make it visible in the wilderness and in the evenings and the Wally Marshall line matches right up to the pole , it’s durable and has good flex , can’t think of a single negative thing about it honestly other then i wish it came in a two piece for storage in the Jeep , lol .

Rod tip broke off too easy in it’s natural state of bending

I bought this as a replacement for my 15yr old rod...what an UPGRADE!!I’ve only fished with it 3 times but I am impressed.I feel so much more now...the jig, the spinners everything!I’m running #4 floro ...definitely will buy another🤘🏻🎣

I know some reviews say broken upon arrival but mine was not. That being said I use this rod for ned rigs and pan fishing only. I've hauled in a 4.5 lbs large mouth with zero issues. The rod performs well the reel does just what a 1000 size should. I am very happy with this combo, fact of the matter is it does what it's designed for and does it well.

I don't know what everyone is complaining about. I have five of these rod and reel combos and I have landed crappie, Bass and even a 4lb catfish! If you take care of it and don't abuse it, it will last you a long time.

Un poco dañado pero se pudo reparar

Muy bonita y muy suave. Aunque el carrete es un poco pequeño pero igual hace su trabajo. El único detalle fue el empaquetado y la paquetería, ya que el embalaje llegó todo roto y doblado sin ningún tipo de protección
